Bill Voth says no tackle in the first

It depends on which ASJ you're talking about. 2012 ASJ sign me up! 2013 ASJ that looked out of shape, disinterested in finishing blocks and sloppier as a route runner? Meh...

The problem is that 2012 ASJ is likely a top 15 lock. There's definitely a price to pay for being NFCS Champs and picking 28.

Absolutely agree. Which is why if Gettleman thinks he's getting 2012 ASJ at 28 he could easily be the pick. It's amazing how much of a night and day difference it is.

After much thought and knowing that we will go BPA since Gettleman never lets us forget it, I believe its down to Ebron or Sua-Filo.  Those two will be the unquestioned best at there respective positions.  Having a guard as dominant as Sua-Filo will allow us to confidently move Chandler to tackle (hes been told to bulk up for such a move apparently by the FO).  If we get anything out of Kugbila its a bonus, hes a 4th round pick the fact that people expect him to just come in and start next year is crazier than Bell playing LT.  So I agree with Voth we will not take the 4th or 5th best tackle, but we may take the best Guard..

Some would be disappointed but I think he would make great defense even better. Better than reaching for OT or WR. Could see top CB going here as well

I would be pissed if we chose another LB with our 1st pick. That would make it the 4th linebacker we chose with our 1st pick out of our last 9 1st round picks which is ridiculous!

I think a big reason why Hurney always hit on his 1st round picks was that he chose positions with extremely low bust rates like RB and LB with most of them.

At this point i would be extremely dissapointed with anything else than a WR, provided all the top talent isnt off the board at pick 28.
