He was saying that Barner will score some TDs but he's an unknown that will not be on anyones team. It was a complement you know?

 

This seems to have gone over pretty much everyone's head.

Why is he even mentioning Barner as a fantasy pick? Who in their right mind would pick up Barner unless it's the last round and they don't need anything else? He had a few touches all of last year and didn't really have a chance to do anything. He's behind 3 other RBs that will get touches.

That's his point. He's saying Barner will go off but will only be owned in like 0.1% of leagues so it basically "helps no one."

Ah. My brain went dumb for a second. I read it as "yeah, he'll score a few TDs, but you'd be crazy to pick him".

Even so, I'd be surprised if Barner sees the field outside of about 10 touches, which might net a couple of first downs. Though, if he were to break out and contribute a good bit for us this year, I'd gladly welcome it (because I want the kid to work out for us for some reason).
