By Max Henson this time, and back to the format of looking at Draft Expert picks.

You might notice a trend here...

Mel Kiper Jr., ESPN.com - OT Morgan Moses, Virginia

Todd McShay, ESPN.com - OT Joel Bitonio, Nevada

Don Banks, SI.com - OT Morgan Moses, Virginia

Rob Rang, CBSSports.com - OT Morgan Moses, Virginia

Dane Brugler, CBSSports.com - OT Cyrus Kouandjio, Alabama

Charles Davis, NFL.com - WR Marqise Lee, Southern California

Josh Norris, Rotoworld.com - OT Morgan Moses, Virginia

Drafttek.com - OT Morgan Moses, Virginia

So after saying we shouldn't pick a tackle, Kiper predicts us picking a tackle.

Kiper is a tool, but saying we shouldn't is different than saying we wont.

Moses is this year's Sheldon Richardson. mock after mock just stations him at #28. almost like an excuse to avoid thinking about the Panthers' possibilities. with 27 picks ahead of them, i'd say it's way more likely that Moses doesn't end up a Panther, if only just due to the randomness of the draft. but you'd never think that, analyzing the apparent "consensus" of mock drafters. man this time of year is annoying.

actually he said this:

“I think when you look at Carolina right now, the receiver’s going to trump the offensive tackle, unless you’re shocked and a Zack Martin (drops),” Kiper said. “But that’s not going to happen. So I would say a wide receiver.”
