I love Burns, but he's got to make the play...not always the big play. Going for the scoop & score instead of securing the fumble. Always going for the strip instead of just getting the sack. poo is getting old watching him "almost" make a play.

Most people balked at the Deshaun Watson asking price (couple starters, couple 1st rounders, etc.) At this point, how many Derrick Brown's and similar bums from this team can we send Houston? You know, minus the massage stuff.

Even if Tepper is still convinced Rhule is somehow the guy...he's going to lose a TON of money and take a shitload of bad PR next season. Good luck trying to lure FA's here as well with a HC on the hot seat and players probably against him. Rhule either wins out (lol) or he has to be fired.

If Rhule is back next year, I really don't know how I'm going to convince myself we can be any good whatsoever. Firing Rhule and getting an actual NFL coach makes us at least respectable again, without even making roster moves.

I think we could also see some extensions that piss some of us off, starting with Darnold. I don't think Rhule/Fit will be willing to admit & eat the cap for their mistake, so congrats on your 2 year extension, Sammy. He's our backup for the next 3 years. Going to take the 18 mil for next year, turn it into a contract for 25 total, and spread it over 3. Granted, I doubt Sam would agree to that, but I think it's our most likely option to put lipstick on that pig unless the FO surprises us and is willing to move on.

OL or bust. Trade down & take BPA on the line. But if Rhule is still here, prepare for him to have a hard-on for Pickett. At this point, may have to hope he rises and we don't get the chance to draft him. Not like we have ammo to trade up anyway unless we're sending players.

Wherever we end up in the first, trade back. Draft OL. Then more OL. Then some more OL. Baring a Watson/Russell Wilson/Aaron Rodgers blank check to come here around the promise of a rebuilt OL, we're forced to roll with the same at QB next year outside of a random mid-round QB. Why draft a 1st round QB and put them into this shitshow? Hell, go get Minshew and give him the Teddy/Darnold treatment for cheaper.

1. Trade him to whatever contender falls short this year. KC, Buffalo, etc. would probably salivate at the idea of CMC in their offense 2. If a trade isn't possible, yupppp. CMC needs to be a WR from here on out. A few rushes a game, but protect the investment you made. If you can't get rid of the contract, you better maximize a way for him to stay on the field and earn it.

I know there's been info alluding to it on Twitter and other places, but just spoke to a friend who mentioned a couple former players (including a certain MLB) who HATE Rhule. At a party with my friend, a couple former players saw Rhule on TV, start yelling GTFO at the TV, how the former players hate him, etc. Might explain Luke's decision to peace out from his scouting role as well. There's a reason Rhule wants Temple/Baylor guys on his team. They bought in at a young age and don't know any better. Actual NFL players tune this dude out.

I don't want a hands on owner, but at this point give me Tepper making some decisions for Rhule. I mean honestly, what good decisions has Rhule made since he's been here? Even the ones we thought were positives for a while (Snow, defense) are regressing. That falls on leadership. Stop with the coach speak and fix it or GTFO before we lose next year's team during this one. Next year's training camp slogan going to be "Hey guys I REALLY mean "DBO" this year!"?
