if we can't get anyone better, sure.

i don't expect next year for us to be anywhere near good. we'll be at the bottom of the worst division in the NFL. i don't expect us to be good. i don't expect us to be remotely interesting next year. hopefully if we suck, it will be enough to earn the #1 pick in the '25 draft and we don't trade any picks away. i don't want us to try and finagle our way to getting a better team next year through trades. only trading we should be doing is whatever we can to increase the number of picks in the '25 draft. next year is going to suck anyways, so why not use that to stockpile picks and cap space? new coach needs to see next year as a dead year and the goal for that coaching staff should be just to get through the year and see who we want to keep around.

i do know that whoever it is, i'm not going to get too excited or pissed off. at this point it/they (the panthers) just aren't worth it.
-
it's all just football, right?
-
i guess i should have clarified... does he have someONE advising him. someone who knows their poo.
-
i'm just along for the ride at this point for GM and HC. i really have no bandwagon i'm jumping on. i've got no dog in this fight. whatever happens, happens.
-
the thing about the search firm is...who is putting in the parameters for what we're looking for at HC and GM? Does tepper still have in his head what he wants and sticking to his guns or does he have someone advising him on what he should be looking for?
-
He doesn't need to be doing anything until he hires a vp of football operations or something like that.
-
I wish him nothing but the best....as long as it's somewhere else.

Rumor: Tepper threw drink in response to JAG fan mocking Haynes injury
rayzor replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
not buying it, but even it's true grown men shouldn't act like that. you don't respond to punks by being a punk. -

i'd rather not. biggest case for him is sentimentalism. we have our blinders on when it comes to former panther players. morgan might be a great fit and do well, but i'd rather not risk it. clean house and start over from scratch. i don't want anyone remaining from this FO or coaching staff.

she does have a strong (minded) reputation. and she's a lawyer and an accountant. plus a couple decades experience with the NFL working contracts and stuff. she knows what she's doing and she'd be tough. seems too good of an option. makes too much sense.

he needed to go too. just like with coaches and GM hires...we keep getting the wrong guy to replace a not so good one. we keep taking steps backwards.
-
finally. who comes first? that's the question now.
-
every little thing he does kills the team and fan experience more. why do we bother? tepper isn't selling the team. he isn't going away. he's killed the panthers. why do we bother sticking around? there's nothing left of this team we all loved so much. tepper has killed it all. so it's not like we would be abandoning anything really. you can't abandon what doesn't exist anymore.

we don't need to be keeping anyone. not from this front office. not from this coaching staff. you let a new GM pick his own staff and you don't let any of the stench from this current administration stick around. i get it. Morgan is a guy we like because he has a history with us... we need to get past that poo. just let him go and start over fresh. you let a new HC pick his coaching staff and you don't stick him with anyone that isn't his first choice. i don't care how much anyone succeeds after leaving here. we need to leave this poo in the past and start over. no hangovers or leftovers. empty the fridge and the freezer and the pantry out and start over. and yes....it's going to be expensive for tepper. serves that moron right.
-
this FO has no idea how to do anything right. once tepper bought this team we've been doing nothing but fail at everything we do. we don't just fail, we make every failure epic. tepper has yet to prove he can do anything right. i mean he hasn';t done ONE THING right since he bought this team. zero. nada.

One of the top 5 mistakes we made last off-season was not trading him for 2 first rounders. It was money in our hand and we got cocky.

Sorry, except for Derrick Brown, im not applauding anyone attached to this poo franchise. I want them all gone. Hell, I wouldn't feel worse if the franchise just dissolved or moved. Such an embarrassment to the Carolinas.

who played their last game for the panthers today?
rayzor replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
There shouldn't be more than 5 left on this roster. Keep Brown around and trade everyone else just to get the smell away. Also fire every coach and everyone in that front office. Burn it all down.
