  1. That's rough. What a lovely town. I absolutely loved going there over the years. One of my favorite drives in the fall and a great place to stop. Not sure this is something that can be rebuilt. Looks like total devastation.
  2. Yeah, I think their DL hurting is more harmful to them than ours to us. Our run game is going to pummel them.
  3. I'm not giving up on this iteration of the team. What I saw last week was just the beginning of something that is going to be growing.
  4. little known fact. hank is a time and space traveling redneck.
  5. rare clear photo of hank. guy is usually a bit blurry. like he's stuck in some kind of interdimensional warp.
  6. it's because we value work and productivity more than life itself.
  7. it's this guy named hank that wears a old school digital watch and velcro shoes. he's the one to blame.
  8. Can't wait for these guys to get into the action.
  9. i just think that he's a bit overhyped because of daddy. he'll get drafted too early because someone will bite on the hype and find themselves with the next teb0w or bryce young. actually seems like a cowboy/jerry jones thing to do. if they hadn't overpaid prescott they would have pushed for baby sanders.
  10. I agree (and so what if it's too soon?). I think they are building a team. Not a team around Bryce. They're going for a team of dawgs and i think you can see that. I'm not sure, but i don't think that BY fits in that category so i'd be surprised if he sticks around. so that probably means they will be looking for a QB that has that in him. wouldn't necessarily have to be a draft pick, either. the door is wide open i think.
  11. i think my definition is more on par with bill's and i think the same thing. it's not a bad thing. it's a great quality to have. it's what you need. anything extra is gravy, but they have to be able to do that first. gunslingers and big play makers are good, but that isn't the majority of what they actually do. if you can't be a game manager, you aren't likely to have a long life in the league. i think the great thing about being a manager is that you force the team to function as a team at a high level if you are going to win. doesn't require the team to be carried by just one person. i mean it's great if you got a QB that can carry the team on their back, but they shouldn't have to. the team should pull it's own weight. counting on and expecting your QB to win games is just lazy team building and coaching. having a bog playmaking QB allows some who coach and GM to coast in their job.
  12. they keep the ball moving forward. not typically known as a big play guy. definitely not a gun slinger. i don't think of it as a bad thing. could also consider it a field general. nothing flashy, they just get the job done.
  13. yeah that was my first thought. full on yikes.
  14. and remember....we play the cowboys in December which is when they usually fall apart. and to @CRA's point above, i think the same could be/could have been said for most of the teams on that schedule. lots of teams are looking pretty bad that usually don't. at this point i think it's anyone's game....including ours. it just doesn't look like there is anyone, especially in the NFC that is just standing out as super dominant except for maybe the vikings(!?!?!?!?). if we play like we did this last week, i think that my prediction of 8-9 wins might be on the conservative side just because our schedule doesn't likes it's full of teams that are playing at a high level.
  15. I'm trying to not go nuts with the optimism, but from what we've seen from other teams on the schedule and how ours looked Sunday...how do you think we fair? Which teams do you afraid of and which teams do you view differently now compared to when you first saw the schedule? bengals (0-3) bears (1-2) falcons (1-2) commanders (2-1) broncos (1-2) saints (2-1) giants (1-2) chiefs (3-0) bucs (2-1) cowboys (1-2) cards (1-2)
  16. not sure i care as long as he keeps giving us a chance to play competitive football. with that said....i think we can go into the chiefs game having only lost 1 or 2 games with him driving.
  17. a good coach would have pulled it off.
