  1. Only difference is that this guy takes the blah to a whole nother layer of suck. He's worse than either coach. At least with them we had a couple good years and there was some positive traction early. Rhule has absolutely nothing going for him.
  2. 1) yeah, it's another whiny thread 2) yeah, I know we're probably stuck with the suck for another year or so 3) yeah, I don't care. Hire a guy that knows how to coach grownups against other grownups. Hire a guy who knows the pro game. Hire a guy that knows how to surround himself with coaches that aren't in over their heads. But first, move on from this drowning man and the kid he hired to be OC and maybe that old guy he picked up at a truck stop in Wisconsin.
  3. His pro team has been pretty offensive.
  4. This season has been the worst roller coaster ride ever. Started off feeling great and that lasted a few games then I plummeted into the depths of blah and felt nothing. Then Cam came back and with it all the feels and excitement....but then the last two weeks happened and now...you know, I just don't care. We suck. We suck. We suck. We suck. Wake me up when we've got a coaching staff that knows the hell what they're doing.
  5. what measure is he using to decide of the process is right? nothing is working. what does work one week won't for the next 2 or 3. i just don't understand.
  6. Trade McCaffrey to get them early picks. He's not doing us any good hurt all the time. Someone will buy the hype.
  7. And add CMC to a trade. Incredible talent is worthless if all he does is get hurt. Someone will give up a first for him.
  8. Hiring them was a swing for the fences move. Sometimes when you swing for the fences, you strike out. We struck out. Next batter, please.
  9. Can we just pretend it never happened? I mean I pretty much am. If it weren't for all these threads talking about him I'd successfully forget this whole thing with him.
  10. I'm not comfortable or confident doing this, but we win in a blowout game. Cam throws 300+ yards and is responsible for 2 passing and 2 rushing TDs. He pushes another 100 yards rushing, CMC 150+ combined yards. Defense gets a shut out game. Cats - 36 Fish - 0
  11. and yes...he is old enough for that call now, hochuli.
  12. He's a smarter runner and still a dangerous runner, but he's also a smarter and better overall passer. The one thing that hadn't changed that makes him MVP caliber is his effect on the team and the crowd. That hadn't changed. With Cam we have a chance and everyone knows that and believes it and the team will play at a higher level because of him when it mayters. The biggest consistent issue we've had all season has been how we come out of the half. We're consistently flat and underwhelming. Solution: let that be Cam time. Let coaches make adjustments to the scheme (please someone tell them this is a thing) and let Cam make an adjustment to their demeanor.
  13. Cam. I've got hope again. It's fun to watch again. Now the defense needs to not cave.
  14. breaking is a poor choice of wording here.
  15. As you've demonstrated. People just close their mind and think that just because he doesn't fit into some neat little box that keeps a lid on him and his personality, he's a problem for the team that needs contained and put in his place.
  16. Sorry but that's a pretty crappy read on Reddick's comments deserving of the poo that's being piled on.
  17. Ron was always a crap game manager. And he just manhandled Rhule. Just one of many demoralizing losses. I just don't know how much I can take.
  18. Nothing good can come from this thread
  19. it was a good idea. just not the best situation to be put into. like david carr. he could have been rehabilitated...if he had time to recover and rebuild after houston. he was supposed to sit behind jake for a year or two and then step in (still a gamble, but whatever). the two crucial things sam needed that he didn't have here was a competent OL and a mentor QB. we didn't really have control over carr having to step on the field earlier than he should have, but we had control over sam's situation here. we failed. we just need to move on. sam is on the same level with clausen and david carr. irreedemable.
  20. When things got tough, he got tougher. Until Tommy John, John Fox managing the 2008 playoff game vs the cards, and then Rip Scherer got in his head in 2009.
