Or one quarter of a season. You are completely right on all you said. Would be an epically short sighted pick using a first or really any early pick on defense unless we go all in on FA and knock it out of the park, but still we need to make drafting OL early a priority and quit being cute.
-
Fitt is going to pull a second and third rounder out of his ass, I guess. I mean we have only a handful of picks in this draft and only one in the first couple days unless we get a comp pick. What/who are we going to trade away to improve that. The most valuable of the limited picks we have should all be focused on the weakest link on the team.

Hard to teach an old dog new tricks. Guys who haven't gotten it right after 3-5 years in the league likely aren't going to figure it out later on. I don't care how good you think your coaching is.

Rhule is hanging in by a thread so no really good prospects are going to want to come here with so many legit jobs coming open for other teams wisely starting over. Plus, Rhule isn't going to come out of his comfort zone, he'll roll with guys he knows from college.

It’s bad in Carolina, but this should make you smile…

At least when the panthers suck I can get some consolation in the cowboys doing poo like this. Epic chokes in the playoffs....it's the cowboy way. -

McCarthy is a dinosaur. Cowboys will never win a championship with him. -
Nothing in the first couple days. All energies need to go towards making the offense better. Defense is more than good enough. They just need an offense that can stay on the field and score. What's absurd is that we have done as bad a job at fixing the offense, esp the OL. If we had done a better job, we wouldn't have to commit so much towards the OL this year. We've pushed ourselves into a corner.
-
We've already put too much into defense and done a piss poor job taking care of that OL. Best thing we can do for the defense is throw everything at the OL and improve QB.
-
Friggin defense. How about we focus on OL and get that poo right. Sure, MLB is a need, but OL is so much more important to the success of the team. Same with QB, but we need to get OL right before ANYTHING else. If we take any defense early....I don't know, I'm already pretty much done with this poo franchise, but that would go nowhere near helping gain any hope back for this team.

Jerry was a crap owner. Might be better than Tepper (would have a hard time arguing otherwise so far), but still a crap owner. Bar not exactly set high.

Multiple analysts ridiculing Rhule's comments
rayzor replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
I sure didn't want him to fail...but he did. Easy for me to admit because I'm not paying him. I think even those fans who didn't want him as coach here, didn't want him to fail. But he did. This team has a lot of problems. It had a lot of problems when Rhule was hired. He was supposed to fix them. Instead there's more and bigger problems. The team isn't better than it was when he took over, and it should be because that's what he was hired to do...make it better. -
I won't be watching bad football.
-
dark cloud....he'd still be here to mess up the team even more.
-
Guys with legit pro experience coaching the position they would be hired for? Can you do this?

This HC Rhule guy is just downright embarrassing
rayzor replied to saX man's topic in Carolina Panthers
Fans are just being too picky expecting the team to win. They should focus on the same things the team does..... I don't know what those things are, but I've been assured it's working 1000%. -

Rhule set to appear on WFNZ Thursday morning
rayzor replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
i can definitely see that, esp. in the awy the players talk to the media. it seems more like a culture thing for sure and the HC creates the culture. the more i see what rhule does i think he's a manipulative leader-type, which in and of itself isn't necessarily a bad thing....as long as the leader knows what they are doing, which i think we're seeing isn't the case. he's manipulating the team off a cliff. -

I guess no one is excited about Kubiak or Groh
rayzor replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
They've been talked about in another thread or two this afternoon, but yeah.....no one is really all that impressed. They've gotten the attention they deserve. -
What Happens If We Strike Out on a Legit OC Hire?
rayzor replied to SetfreexX's topic in Carolina Panthers
Truth is regardless of who we hire, my feelings towards them and the team are going to continue to be "meh" until Rhule is fired. I won't allow myself to get pissed off anymore but this crap team or get excited when we have an ok draft and pick up a few decent FAs or win a couple games early in the season. Regardless of what happens we're going to keep winning just a enough games to get us a top 5-10 pick every year as long as Rhule is here. He's more interested in trying to build his "culture" (whatever the hell that is) than win.
