  1. It does fit his vision of the OL. He craves flexibility over all.
  2. Yeah....I know. If we go OT, you've got to know that's who Rhule would pick.
  3. Got to love that guard/tackle flexibility.
  4. But he was consistent....which is why he stuck around the league for 20+ years (with only 6 winning seasons). Consistency is consistently overvalued.
  5. Nowhere near enough of a track record to decide that. This is Fitt's first full off-season and we still haven't seen him without Rhule's fat grubby fingers in everything. But we have decades of info on Hurney to know he was as horrible. Jury is still out on Fitt, but Hurney's jury came in a looking time ago. I think, though, that the premise here is that Tepper doesn't know what HE'S doing.
  6. Don't believe it, but it wouldn't surprise me.
  7. What the hell are you smoking? And furthermore... And oh yeah.......
  8. So the hope is to upgrade to maybe mediocre? What would it cost us?
  9. Very cool. What did it look like originally?
  10. You mean the NFL has favorites and there's a double standard? Ya don't say!
  11. So Steelers get rewarded for doing the right thing. Good for them. Good for Flores.
  12. He should be here. Hopefully if Rhule gets fired he's on the short list. Steelers got guts. And integrity. Good for them.
  13. This should bother me but it doesn't. Not anymore. This isn't a special team anymore.
  14. Lol people acting like him trying for an actual promotion with another team is he I'm rejecting us. Lots of stuff to complain and whine about with the panthers, but him trying for a promotion is not him trying to get away from the panthers. It's a fuggin promotion you ninnies! Why would he not want to try for that regardless of how we were doing?
  15. Im just preparing myself for that kind of move. Seriously, would anyone really be shocked for us to do that? Or to use that first pick on defense?
  16. He's the most interesting to me, but we'll either go Pickett or a CB.
  17. Here's one thing to consider, and I'm saying this as someone who for years has been on the jim harbaugh bandwagon, could he have done that with any other team or was it just a matter of right place, right time, right crew(players)? If not, then why has he not had a dominant team outside of that? I mean there for a minute Stanford was pretty good, but they also had a pretty good QB. Since San Fran, where has the success been?
  18. That embarrassing episode with minny makes hit pause on harbaugh and question whether or not he's a guy that a team would actually want to work with. Why did they really not want to bother with him. Is his ego too big? Also, Rhule has kind of ruined the idea of hiring a coach out of college for me. The mindset and coaching style for a college coach vs. pro coach is different. I know Harbaugh has pro experience as a player and HC and he's had success, but college coaches coach college ball for a reason that isn't just money. It's where they belong. Same with pro coaches. He might be good, but I would rather look elsewhere....mainly at coaches who coach adults.
  19. Lol that's true. the hit made the man.
