  1. The cap was in great shape until it wasn't. Bad decisions net bad results.
  2. Garappolo would become Garopplegic behind this OL.
  3. In the face after a practice in the panthers locker room from what I remember. It was a pretty big discussion around here, but we didn't hear about it until after he was gone. Wasn't exactly the kind of thing the team wanted getting out. Wasn't as public as the training camp incident (I was there for that) and nobody had to go to the hospital like after the first assault. Easier to keep contained and Cam probably didn't make it any better. At that point Cam was the future and Smitty wasn't doing much here. He had more in the tank for sure, but he wasn't letting it out. Dude was getting into more fights than he was getting into the end zone. I hated seeing him go and think it was crappy the way it was handled, but it wasn't surprising after it happened.
  4. We start winning a couple more games, we keep Rhule. And then we plateau at .500.
  5. Yes. Hit him. Well, slapped actually, but still. It was assault....again.
  6. Oh, I know it's going to happen. And it will be another in a long line of bad decisions that they've worked themselves into.
  7. And no one needs to be hit to put them in their place. That's the same mentality that refs gave for allowing him to get assaulted on a regular basis without repercussions. "Boy needs to be put in his place" Smh
  8. Nope. Fair price or not, we crippled ourselves making stupid decisions last year. Fair price might still be too costly.
  9. Lol you're talking out of your ass. I learned the hard lesson a long time ago that we won't win with Sam because he's horrible. Show me the last time I said anything positive about him. Too often doing something out of desperation leads you to bad decisions. Because of desperation, we went after Sam. Desperation led us to making some very bad decisions in the trade for him that hurt us. We got the wrong QB and it cost us a lot. Then we made bad decisions in the draft, bypassing obvious needs and legit talent for the OL. Then Horn gets hurt and, in desperation again, we trade away a good and needed target for whoever the QB is and yet another early draft pick because we'd "rather do something, than nothing at all". The cost is what would keep Watson from being as good an answer as he would have been had we not crippled the team last year out of desperation. Trading for Watson is a bad idea because it would put us in a much greater hole than we are in now. As good as Watson is, he wouldn't be good enough to pull us out of the hole that obtaining him would create.
  10. What makes you think a trade with Houston will allow us to keep key players from that defense? We won't be better after a trade with Houston.
  11. So you think that us with Watson will do better than Houston did with Watson? Especially after the damage done in lost personnel/picks?
  12. What? Smitty was being Smitty. Great player, but he could be a volatile ass with his teammates or even on the field. Smith hit Cam. That's Smith's fault. He's lucky it didn't go the same way it did the previous two times he assaulted a teammate.
  13. PSL owners are trapped. There is no resale value to them anymore. Owners are stuck with a bad investment. They try to sell, who is going to buy them? How low would they have to sell them to actually get a buyer? They are stuck and have no choice but to hold on and wait until there are better days. My condolences to the whole lot of you.
  14. Watson can't win games by himself. We aren't better than the Texans with Watson.
  15. No to all of them. No more friggin trades for QB or anyone else, especially if we're giving up draft picks.
  16. Yes. Watson might be an incredible talent but 1) he's no Cam 2) think of the cost! What will we lose by attaining him and how long will it keep Rhule around. We couldn't win a Lombard with Cam. Do any of you think we could win it with a severely handicapped team (which we would be after selling the farm to get him), a more poorly coached team, and a QB that the league would hate even more? We couldn't win with superman. Watson is no Superman. He would be a weak attempt at reliving the Superman team with a much weaker justice league led by mental midget with a Napoleon complex. Seriously, we don't want that. Superman is gone and he ain't coming back. Let's find another way.
  17. 2 alpha males and they clashed. Literally. Smitty and Cam got into it in the locker room and had to be separated. It was well discussed after Smitty went to Baltimore.
