players aren't going to throw the coach under the bus....at least ones that aren't pricks won't. players do need to own their part in this fiasco (because they do have a role to play in it), but coaches need to fuggin coach up the players. one or two goofing up, i can see it being more on the players. if it's the whole team that isn't doing it right, they aren't being coached right. coach 'em up, coach!

Nothing would surprise me. Until I see tepper actually fire Rhule, it's going to be hard for me to see tepper part ways with his first coach hire. I just haven't heard any legit sources say tepper will move on any time soon.

I've got a feeling because of that cap we'll be stuck with Rhule another year, but they'll sacrifice that year....a true lame duck year. They'll try to get as much crap out of the cap before they make their move to get a good HC and hope there's a good QB for that new HC to build around.

at some point you've got to figure it's not the QBs. can't blame it on the OC, either. or really the GM. somehow it falls down to the one common denominator that has been here the longest.

he and spurts of horn are the only bright spots. i think the defense, just like last year, looks better the first few games than they actually are. we're going to be facing some actual NFL level OCs and play callers coming up. it could get ugly...again.

Snow's defense looked pretty good for the first couple games last year until a grownup team figured out how to beat the college scheme we were running and showed everyone else how to do it while snow couldn't adapt. We'll see the same this year. Cardinals ran a college offense run by another college coach. Shanny Jr. isn't a college coach. They'll run all over us and show everyone else how to.

They are used to losing. They are comfortable losers. That's their culture now. That's where Rhule's process is taking them. They act like they don't like it and like they seriously want to change things, but they don't have a clue what they are doing because their coach doesn't have a clue....and their attitude is, obviously, it is what it is.

Baker's doing a lot of not good things here that he didn't do in cleveland and we're performing worse than with just about any other QB in at least a decade. i'm beginning to think this just wasn't a good match.

this year has probably sold me on not taking a QB shorter than 6'1. I don't care who or how many QBs have had success in spite of being short....i've had enough of batted down passes from short QBs. and yes...i know that even Cam had a lot and other taller QBs have had that happen, but the risk is much greater...too great, imo...to choose to go that route. and does that mean i wouldn't try to get Brees or some other short QB that was a HoFer or shoe in to wear a yellow jacket or whatever? well...those guys aren't an option. for future ones, i'll let someone else gamble on that. if you don't like that answer... ps: .... friggen ellipses rule...

Seriously what character does this team have? Compare it to teams and iterations of the past....we've got nothing. I mean it's just a boring blah team. Not even vanilla. It's boiled plain oatmeal that you forgot about three hours ago. I seriously don't know why I bother watching.
