Wilson won't like not being coddled. Whining will happen.

Another Special Juan clickbait thread (aka nothing to see here)
rayzor replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Dammit @TheSpecialJuan. I fixed the thread title and deleted those stupid tags. -
Good for him and good place for him.

yeah i wouldn't want any of these QBs after the first 4 until well after round 4. i'm thinking 5th or later. and maybe a udfa as a practice squad guy. i'd like to see a full QB room and with a good few options, esp. in case of injury. i'd like the panthers under Reich to be QB university.
-
tune has my attention. i mean in no way should we draft somoene like him hoping that he could be the starter, but if we draft a QB in the first round (and we should absolutely do that), we should also draft another one later...or at least pick up one as a udfa. i mean after the first 4 guys there's a good crop of "maybe" guys out there who would be worth a shot. as much as i like even stroud and young, there's no way i would be ok coming out of this draft with just one QB.
-
I think that's all we'll need to pull it off, either Stroud or Young will be there because colts will go Levis. Don't know which QB Houston will be sold on, but I think it's most likely Young. We just need to get ahead of the Raiders.

Ellis Williams. How to turn the Panthers around in one year
rayzor replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
step 1, realize it doesn't take 5+ years to turn a team into a winner. -
late to the conversation but i think you're talking about @Panthro

now do rhule's staff.
-
Anxious to see what it looks like in a true collaboration. Wondering where those guys are who kept on pushing that idea that Rhule didn't have total control over the roster.

Panthers Request Interview w/ Evero for DC

Get him. Steal him. Whatever it takes just get him. -
There's that cauliflower gif again

Yes. Power arm is nice, but not essential if you can throw it to the right receiver at the right time with the right touch....and the right receiver will always be running the right routes designed around the throwing range of the QB. Gunslingers are fun, but a QB who can dink and dunk and tear apart defenses is pretty fun too. And if that QB is a mobile threat, then watch out.

I'd be stoked for either Young or Stroud. Would not be upset at all. I know it will probably take a serious trade to get into position to get either one, but I'd be ok with that. I'm just tired of waiting for that guy and both of them could be that guy. If we didn't or couldn't move up, I'd be ok with Richardson, but he would take a lot more work to get him where he needs to be. As far as Levis goes....do not want, but if they decide to take him I'd be disappointed but I'd try to be hopeful and cross my fingers that he's not just a bigger jimmy Clausen. Bryce and CJ are the "can't miss" guys in this draft, though

I feel very strongly about this... Derek Carr.
rayzor replied to Proudiddy's topic in Carolina Panthers
so that's the big issue and reason why he and rhule are too alike? how many games did each win with their QBs? who was able to make it work? -

what trends? i mean you make it sound like there's a bunch of similarities that could do serious harm. -

lol so they are pretty much the same guy... except one has nearly 30 years of experience at the pro level at all levels and has a ring and has coached several winning seasons as a HC despite having multiple QBs. oof -

Would you take Eric sleeping with Bieniemy as OC?
rayzor replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
not trying to sound mean or anything, genuinely curious...but what makes you think that Bieniemy would be better than Reich? I mean he hasn't done that before, has he? -
lol i typically waited until our 4th pick to start taking trades and only took them if all the picks were for this year. i'd end up with about 15-20 drafted players consistently. this was the first time i decided to take picks for next year and i wound up with this... https://www.nflmockdraftdatabase.com/user-mock-drafts/2023/user-mock-1139211 not sure if it will link my whole draft but i wound up with CJ Stroud and i didn't really care who after that lol just picked who ever they suggested, but we also got these picks for next year: 1st: 5 (2 from texans, one from san fran, one from raiders, and one from steelers) 2nd: 2 (from houston and seattle) 3rd: 1 (from san fran) 4th: 3 (2 from houston, 1 from seattle) 5th: 1 (from raiders) 6th: 1 (from Houston) 7th: 1 (from raiders) and all i gave up was a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 2 5ths.
