  1. I think in the previous weeks it's more likely to have false stuff "leaked" intentionally, but there's some stuff that goes on inside franchise office walls, parts of legit conversations and bits of real information, that somehow slips out and if you're paying attention and know your sources you know what's real and not. I know I've been hearing stuff myself trickle out all along this year that has been really consistent, but it seems about this time of the year, right before the draft, that it starts to flow more. During the Rhule Era, it seems like it all shut down completely except signs of discontent from within. As soon as he's go e, though, it seems like things start to open up again. So basically, lots of stuff gets leaked leading up to the draft, and while there's a lot of fake poo that gets leaked, here's also legit stuff that gets leaked and needs spinning. If it needs a spin, it's probably legit.
  2. There is an RB that they like a lot who isn't on that list, but he'll likely be gone so it won't really matter. I keep hearing Mingo brought up a lot too. I mean a lot.
  3. I still believe that Levi's is the 4th best QB in this class, but I've all along believed that Levis is a natural fit in Indy...and that's not necessarily a compliment. I don't know who will be drafted ahead of him or who should be drafted ahead of him, but I think he will be a colt.
  4. That's the problem, was it inaccurate then or now? I've got to believe that the closer we get to the day, the more accurate the leaks are going to be.
  5. Ok....this tracks as well and when asked yesterday about the most recently released scores, one of the founders didn't refute it....instead he said essentially to not let it be the while picture. So it's more than likely that Stroud did score in a very low percentile on this test. Just don't let it control the narrative. It's a big part of it, but not the whole narrative....just like Young's size and AR's lack of experience isn't the whole narrative. https://www.si.com/nfl/2023/04/21/s2-cognition-test-nfl-draft-founder-says-leaked-scores-grain-of-salt-bryce-young-cj-stroud
  6. Same. That game knocked all the wind out of my sails and I've been struggling to recover ever since. I'm legit excited again.
  7. I guess thats whst I was getting at. It can help point to who has what it takes to succeed, but also who, cognitively, is going to struggle the most. Most of what I've seen is that those who do well have higher scores. Those who struggle the most have lower scores. I just am surprised that CJ is supposed to have a lower score.
  8. If the score was 18 and the story Brady Quinn told about CJ ghosting Manning Camp was true.... I don't know what to think. Lots of QBs pass the eye test in college and have a good bit of success but then they get to the pro level and just can't get things to click for whatever reason. Could it be that the S2 could be an indicator of not just success but, more importantly, of a lack of success? I guess we'll find out.... if this stuff is true, that is. I do know that as the days go by I'd be less and less upset if he's not the pick. I'd still be happy if we get him, but I think I'd also be more nervous with that pick than Young.
  9. i think at this point it's going to be Young...and that's totally fine with me. But so also would be Stroud or even AR. i'm do have to admit i'm feeling more excited about Young, though.
  10. gonna lock the thread. he might have have scored poorly, but we're not going by falsely leaked scores.
  11. but yeah...thundercat. some of the funkiest bass sounds/grooves out now.
  12. ok, let's not forget Jaco... of course Wooten and this newer guy Charles Berthoud
  13. Well at least Thundercat will be entertaining. But I'm a bass player. Not sure he's many peoples bag.
  14. so what are you hoping to do here? sit down and think about this.... do you really think it's important for us to all join you in your quest to crown CJ as king? did you actually know that 1) it's ok that people don't agree with you that stroud is the only option and 2) we don't actually decide who is drafted? i get it...this is your passion...this is your reason for being at the moment, but do yourself a favor and give it a rest because you're really just wasting your time.
  15. i have a feeling that might happen. i'm actually excited at the prospect of it being ATL that gets the other guy. a solid long term division rivalry would be a lot of fun.
  16. i'm not as excited as i was about the idea of drafting Cam back then, but i am still pretty giddy and a bit anxious. i know it's going to be a great pick that's going to have us set and competitive for years. and i feel good about most of the options that are available. with the cam pick, i knew that there wasn't any real competition...because it was really just cam, yo gabba, and locker and those last two i knew were going to be bad. there really was only one name that had any real chance of being called. with this year...i just can't wait to hear whoever's name is called and have some clarity to my dreams.
  17. said it many times and will keep saying it until that name is called. i'll be ecstatic with either guy. and i'd also be really excited about the potential of AR if he's the name called. Lots to like about all of them. And i've said this before and i still totally believe it, whoever we pick will be better than the other options when it all plays out because of the situation they are landing into here.
