my bias is showing, but we got the difference maker we've been needing since Cam was torpedoed by Watt. we win there. but aside from that, the texans and eagles...fantastic moves for both of them. i mentioned a couple times that i thought the texans would try and trade #12 to move up and get their QB after drafting their stud D guy, but trading back up to #3 and having back to back picks really blew me away. happy that it was stroud because i like him. eagles getting jalen carter....the rich gets richer. and then picking up nolan carter. dude, that team is stacked on defense. but picking up Carter was a huge win for them. i saw micah parsons react to the eagles getting carter and it was priceless...

i think he was in shock. it has to be just the most surreal moment for any of them. no way to predict how it hits them to hear their name...or not to hear their name. i can't imagine.

definitely a cool moment. dude talked up their friendship a good bit. that just showed it wasn't just talk. genuine reaction. so happy for both of them and AR. feel bad that i'm just kind of 'meh' about Levis, though. i think we'll see great things from these top three dogs.

Like I said, what a few of us have been hearing from a person who has given us scoops that we didn't hear anywhere else that always checked out, especially during draft time...I trust it. A few of us have shared it. @The Crown and the Claw has been passing on stuff that is right in line with what we have been hearing. I wouldn't blame you for not buying it. I do because a few of us have been getting reliable info passed on to us for years. @The Crown and the Claw has been also sharing information that is right in line with what we have been getting told. Trust it or not, I don't care. It really doesn't matter. Like I said, I'm just passing along some stuff that I've heard from a source I've trusted over the years.

Yeah, it just didn't get reported I think partly because it didn't fit the media narrative that this was a race between Young and Stroud and the Panthers were sending out very mixed messages. What we were hearing and what the Panthers were showing was very different. There's still a few interesting things that have been mentioned that wasn't reported as well, but not quite as newsworthy. For example the meeting with a certain TE that I and many others want didn't exactly go well. And apparently there's another member to the brain trust walking around the halls of Mint St. That no one has mentioned.

That's what I'm wondering. I would think it's on par with what Hurts got. I think that with the market essentially drying up and the clusterf*ck that Watson and Wilson situations turned into really hurt his chances of ee getting that kind of deal. It was kind of realistic last year, but this year there was a lack of stupid teams. Plus the Ravens through the bait out there and it was reasonable, but there were no takers. I guess he finally realized no one was going to love him like Baltimore.

He believed Stroud would be the guy, but voices leaking out have been very consistent saying that their two favorites were Young and AR. Stroud wasn't really mentioned much, which surprised me.

Because they had made up their mind weeks ago. Weeks before that they had narrowed it down but to AR and Young, but had settled on the idea of AR when they were at 9 because there was no way Young was going to make it to them. For the past month+ it was only Young and AR, in that order.

Panthers will be fine with it, though.

Several of us have been hearing it for weeks from people with connections. They like CJ, just not more than AR or Young.

Mills, Smitty, and now Young.

With him it doesn't have to make sense. And yes, he has been banned before.
