i actually like the idea of the brown/tuttle/robinson front and was excited about seeing it. that said, i wouldn't hate if we brought in a better NT. Brown and Robinson are beasts, though. i feel really good about them.

the two couldn't be more different in regards to physique and demeanor, but bryce is giving me the same level of confidence and excitement cam did. i don't mean i'm excited to see bryce take off and take on LBs head on or anything like that and Bryce doesn't have ability to pump the crowds up the way cam did, but what i'm seeing on the field is giving me the same hope. this is what i was hoping for when we drafted him. it took a while and some priming the pump to get it going, but it finally got going.

it's kind of hard to do that. but other teams are probably saying the same thing about what bryce has been doing, that it almost cost them games and they've got to try to catch the little squirt.

yeah, that poo he was doing getting out of our end zone...that wasn't a game manager. what we've been seeing week to week isn't "just a game manager". he's had those clutch drives at the end of games where he just dominated. defenses were throwing everything at him and he was just making poo happen. it's something that may not show up in the all precious stats, but when you're watching it and for those guys playing with him and against him, it's crying out more than just a game manager. this is a guy that can put the game on his back in crucial moments and make poo happen.

i get what you're saying, but i don't buy it. doesn't matter, though. these games may not matter for us in that way, but they absolutely matter for the teams we are playing. had we just laid down yesterday because "it didn't matter" then philly gets a gimme, which isn't quite fair for the other teams in competition for playoff spots or their division. had we beat them, while it may "not matter" to us, it matters to their record and it effects the playoff landscape. it's just in the spirit of competition. all of it matters.

who says the games are meaningless? for who?
