  1. Good idea considering that's going to be our Temu for the next few days.
  2. It's the best explanation for the regression, especially considering the coaching staff....and especially x2 considering we still have Campen. How Michael Jordon still has a job here, though, is something completely different. Just hoping he's in the next wave of cuts after we see another OG get cut from another team.
  3. I loved this idea at the beginning, like a couple others have pointed out, where Reich said the plan (when the Jets came in) was to push the team to the edge "schematically we're going to try and challenge each other. We're going to put the offense in some impossible situations where the chains are always against us. We're going to do drills where it's almost impossible for the defense to succeed, or for special teams to succeed. Let's put ourselves in situations where success is hard. That's where the greatest opportunity for growth is." Well, they pulled that off.
  4. 1) no injuries 2) improvement of OL as a unit 3) WRs getting more on same page with Bryce 4) corral making a case for himself to stay on the roster 5) Hot takes and overreactions
  5. I think any offer for him would be a sign of insanity and/or extreme desperation.
  6. I honestly don't see us getting anything for him. He's got no trade value. Granted he's not had many chances to prove himself, but any opportunity he's had to show something, he hasn't. I guess keep him and hope that with some decent coaching and sitting behind Young and Dalton he can learn some poo. But overall, my enthusiasm over him last year was misplaced. Some guys have it. I don't see Corral as being one of the "some guys". He's got the tools, but so did Sammy and Baker.
  7. This one was that numerology wacko. I think he's had at least 60 accounts. He's shown up a few times recently. It comes in spurts.
  8. There doesn't have to be a #1. The way Young has always played is the guy who is in the best position to make a positive play is the #1 guy. I don't see that changing here. And there's several promising options to throw to still...Theilen, Mingo, Hurst, and Sanders. Also Shenault. No #1 type in there(yet), but these guys are enough to move the chains and score with the right QB and play design/calling.
  9. we should be concerned because some drunk musclebound jocks and/or his wife has just noticed that young is smaller than the usual QB.
  10. And for the record (and because that comment pissed me off a bit) ... Acting like a coward hiding behind the warning button? That "cowardly act" is meant to let people know when they are pushing things a bit too far so that they don't wind up doing something that will get them banned, but do it in a way that isn't calling someone out in public. It's fugging meant to keep people from getting called out in public because who loves that kind of poo happening to them? It's a fugging courtesy. Ain't no hiding going on and if you've been here and paying attention you'd know that I don't have a problem calling anyone out either through a warning (that's really no one else's business) or in the middle of the thread, so if you or anyone else gets a warning from one of us, be glad that we're not just banning you right out or calling you out publicly. It's no one else's business when you get a warning, not even those who have reported what you did drawing our attention. And when you get a warning, don't take it personally (or do, I don't really care), just comply and move on and let it go. It's not as serious as you think, but it definitely keeps it from getting too serious or too out of control. And now....
  11. save those discussions for the tinderbox. keep it out of here. in other words....knock it off. we've got a thread over there for discussions just like this. but keep it over there. clear enough?
  12. but it's a take that several very vocal posters have taken. the hot take, preseason does nothing but show that this team isn't good and we're in for a losing season and it shows that we hired the wrong coach.
  13. your preseason record doesn't matter. and i don't care what harbaugh says. that might be his goal, but for most teams preseason is for evaluation. if going undefeated in preseason is important to you, then you're going to have an easy time of it because you're playing against teams who don't have it as their primary objective. but when you get to the end of preseason...what happens to that record?
