Trade: Panthers Acquire Ihmir Smith-Marsette from Chiefs
rayzor replied to Bluetooth's topic in Carolina Panthers
now we've got 2? -
Been waiting for this. Thanks

Hardy was/is a legit psychopath. That's what fueled him on field and what made him a train wreck off field. YGM just seems too sane to turn into Hardy.

I got talked into Subway for lunch today. I'm already on the toilet. Ugh

Probably why his 10 things that makes Bob Barker angry Letterman top 10 list showed up on my YouTube feed this morning. Not the funniest one, but it was always just a joy to see him on TV. I honestly say there trying to remember when it was he passed away and I couldn't remember how many years ago it was. I guess that's why I couldn't remember, it had only been a day.
-
Lol ugh why the hell did you do that?

It really popped to me. I really liked it. It just feels right. So much better.
-
Same here. Was also thinking that for Cade Mayes, though I'm not all that confident in that happening right now.

It jives with that last episode of camp confidential and Reichs comments to the team before the practice with the Jets.
-
Wow Dan Arnold is an interesting idea. Trading him away wasn't exactly the best idea.

Good idea considering that's going to be our Temu for the next few days.

It's the best explanation for the regression, especially considering the coaching staff....and especially x2 considering we still have Campen. How Michael Jordon still has a job here, though, is something completely different. Just hoping he's in the next wave of cuts after we see another OG get cut from another team.

I took care of that

We got the right one.

I loved this idea at the beginning, like a couple others have pointed out, where Reich said the plan (when the Jets came in) was to push the team to the edge "schematically we're going to try and challenge each other. We're going to put the offense in some impossible situations where the chains are always against us. We're going to do drills where it's almost impossible for the defense to succeed, or for special teams to succeed. Let's put ourselves in situations where success is hard. That's where the greatest opportunity for growth is." Well, they pulled that off.

1) no injuries 2) improvement of OL as a unit 3) WRs getting more on same page with Bryce 4) corral making a case for himself to stay on the roster 5) Hot takes and overreactions

how now brown cow. title fixed. -
ever the contrarian.

I think any offer for him would be a sign of insanity and/or extreme desperation.

I honestly don't see us getting anything for him. He's got no trade value. Granted he's not had many chances to prove himself, but any opportunity he's had to show something, he hasn't. I guess keep him and hope that with some decent coaching and sitting behind Young and Dalton he can learn some poo. But overall, my enthusiasm over him last year was misplaced. Some guys have it. I don't see Corral as being one of the "some guys". He's got the tools, but so did Sammy and Baker.
