  1. let me go throw up first and maybe i'll be able to tell you
  2. There's not a position on this team we shouldn't be seriously evaluating and considering in the draft. Go BPA all the way.
  3. For those far too busy or just too damn lazy to watch a 12 minute video, here's your list. Watch the video for an explanation or just think you know everything there is to know about them I don't care. 10) Ejiro Evero 9) Frank Smith 8 ) Bobby Slowik 7) Antonio Pierce 6) Ben Johnson 5) David Shaw (former Stanford HC) 4) Raheem Morris 3) Mike Vrabel 2) Jim Harbaugh 1) Bill Belichik Again, watch the video for getting an idea of where he's coming from. Or don't. It's just an interesting perspective from a guy whose opinion I always thought was interesting. Not sure about Ben Johnson being so low or David Shaw being on it at all, but i appreciate having my thoughts scrambled a bit.
  4. Interesting be takes on a few that I haven't heard around here...esp. Raheem Morris.
  5. unless i'm mistaken (quite possible, fwiw) no one can have in person interviews until the 22nd.
  6. yeah, they are being really tight lipped about everything so far this year...probably guided by the advisory team.
  7. So by the end of the day we will have also interviewed Morris and Quinn. and as far as belichick or harbaugh....maybe we're just not interested in a dinosaur and some guy who isn't really interested in coming to the east coast?
  8. no sense in freeing them up until we know what direction we are going to go. sucks for the coaches, but that's part of the deal with the contract they signed. there's no obligation to let them go. of course it's not going to make anyone want to stay around. if they already wanted to check out of this dumpster fire, this will only want them to bail out more. there' s really no winning with this for anyone. but this is what kind of thing can happen when you work for a crap organization.
  9. Our identity, when it has been at its best, has come when we were just punch you in the face tough and I think that's the identity we miss the most. The idiot savant is what is shiny at the moment, but we need someone who will get the players to fight when its all falling down around you. We're at the bottom and we're going to have to fight to climb out. Give me the guy who will instil that.
  10. Said it elsewhere, I've got a feeling we won't be hiring a guy over 50... probably will be younger than 40.
  11. I'm locking it and every other old thread I see getting bumped up
  12. It's the best course of action for our situation, though. Give him a good QB coach and. Good OC that can give him a chance to develop and if Bryce still can't do it, use your early first rounder in 2025.
  13. If we could get Darrell Bevell I'd be happy.
  14. Dorsey in that capacity would be good. Nothing more than that, though.
  15. I honestly don't think we'll get anyone older than 50.
  16. Coaches who won't be coming here ... Harbaugh Belichik Ben Johnson And probably Vrabel
  17. Lol i fugged that up. Why would anyone choose us over any other situation?
  18. Why would anyone choose us over any other situation? Aside from money (which we've learned doesn't help much) what reason is there? Lol
  19. Honestly, nobody really excites me. I'm sure some of those guys would be good...maybe even great. I just don't see us having any success for a while now matter who we get and, knowing our track record, the bar is set high for mediocre. And I know if 8 let myself get excited about someone, they've been a disappointment. So I'm just along for the ride. If we win, great. If we don't....well I'm used to it.
  20. They tried developing/building and running an offense that was in no one's wheelhouse around a speculative commodity with only a vague idea how it would look left for a lot of individual interpretation from very distinct mindsets with a head coach who was a nice guy, but also fearful of not having control and no clear understanding on how to or ability to run a club where so many strong personalities and presences from diverse backgrounds are present and all of that with a narcissistic owner who wants his two cents put into every discussion and decision while also breathing down the head coach's neck at all times. Now try reading that massive run on sentence out loud without taking a breath and you have the compexity and chaos of this team in a nutshell. And that was just the offense.
