experience matters. there's a difference between managing the college game and pro game. there's a difference in the way you manage boys vs men. who knew? what's next? picking players who have demonstrated skill vs. players who have not, but you "see something that could be special"?

Here's the biggest issue with going BPA. Whose damn board you gonna use?

We don't need any more trades unless it's unloading expensive damaged goods for picks. Vets we bring in need to be exclusively through FA. And we need someone other than that damn fool Rhule making those decisions.

It doesn't matter who you get if Rhule is here, we're going to suck. And then no matter who we get to replace Rhule, they are going to want their guy and they should get their own guy. You don't want us to draft a QB in the first round while Rhule is here. It will be a wasted pick long term and they'll turn into the next darnold. Draft guys that will likely make it from one coaching staff to the next. QB is least likely to be that.

With the right coaching staff it only takes a couple years, regardless of where you started. If you're counting on it taking more than 2-3, you're doing it wrong and you've hired the wrong guy
