  1. bumping this post because it just makes me chuckle.
  2. kids....don't make me pull this car over.
  3. "played" in the league for a while. He's held a clip board for a long time but he doesn't exactly have much in the way of significant play time. I get you're talking about back up but comparing him to Walker...bar's not really high there. Neither should be starting any games for anyone ever.
  4. That's what I was afraid of. There's not any of them that I'm really be excited about or that I feel could be special. Thats also why I think we should just spend next year fixing the OL and just pick up an old vet who would end up as mentor for a young QB. Only problem with that plan is it pushes success further down the road. I'm just tired of waiting, but next year just isn't it a good year to find that special QB. This year was the year for that and we're stuck staring at our navals.
  5. This is the one that interests me out of all of them next year. The rest are pretty meh
  6. And this is a different shoulder injury than the one he had coming into the game? Isn't that convenient?
  7. Different staff. Same poo. That staff is in Washington and under investigation.
  8. nothing questionable about it. Marsh STARED at the other side....i mean he STARED at them. Really stared at them...with both eyes!!!!!!! i bet he even had one of his eyebrows raised. i mean that's some intimidating poo.
  9. good luck with that. he's the sam darnold of kickers.
  10. The overall OL talent level coming out of college has been lagging behind most other position groups for a long time. College teams have figured how to get by with JAGs on the line and I think this is probably the mindset that Rhule came to the pros with. Big problem is this isn't college and just because it worked there doesn't mean it will work here. OL matters. You live or die in the trenches. You can't just throw guys with grit in there and bounce them around the line hoping that something works. You get guys with a proven track record of sustained success at a specific position and you put them in it and you keep them in it. This is a kick in the nuts lesson that I hope drops him to the ground weekly and that his stubborn ass learns from.
  11. Balls were landing in his hands and he wasn't holding on to them. He shares the blame.
  12. Rhule is too much of a belichick and Mac Jones fan to really do anything about it. Pregame pressers he was slobbering all over them.
  13. I've said this before (not that it matters) but a good OC would find a way to make it work....to make something work. I'm sure he's smart, but he's lacking experience and an ability to adjust, adapt, and situationally scheme and play call. Move on.
  14. there's growing pains and then there's polio.
  15. but we're finding those hidden gems, right?
