  1. A rookie looking like a guy who has a lot of room to improve? The horror.
  2. No, this is the kind of loss you want. I don't want any loss.
  3. The problem hasn't been the play design or calling or QB play. It's been dropped balls and a struggling defense. Neither Canales or BY can catch the balls. They're doing everything they can to put players in a situation to get the ball caught and moved down the field. It's on the rest of the players to do their own job.
  4. He's been getting better every week. It's exactly what we've been hoping to see. Will he keep getting better? He's giving us no reason to believe he won't be. Haters are going to keep hating but one by one they'll either just shut up or eat their crow like a big boy....or just keep finding ways to look ignorant.
  5. What's with all the poor sportsmanship this year? Seems a bit worse.
  6. Moved over here. More likely to get some good answers.
  7. Sounds a lot like the clusterfug we had last year with Reich. Poor leadership loses the team. Poor leadership will cost you your job.
  8. You take all this stuff too personally. Learn to detach. Lol or don't. It's up to you. People don't have the same appreciation or longing for him you seem to have. For me, I just don't understand it. Basically a footnote in Panthers history. Go ahead if you feel he needs it or you need it, but most apparently just don't know why it's such a big deal. Comparing him to guys like kuechly or cam is kind of weak. Those guys made a huge impact on the franchise. Wilks was just a guy we had as a DC a couple times and got him to be an interim. Mildly interesting, but not much more than that as time goes on.
  9. Ancient history. Great guy. Good interim HC. Decent DC but the game is passing him by. We've got the right guy for the job now. Time to move on.
  10. I think we're better off with him there.
  11. But hey, @hehateme welcome back. We really do appreciate your part in our history. Made for some fun times.
  12. This story sounds familiar. Common denominator.....Thomas Brown. He might just be bad luck.
  13. Just had Thanksgiving meal with a couple dozen family and friends. I lucked out and got one of the smoked turkey legs. Stuffing, mashed taters and gravy, green bean casserole, sweet potato casserole, kale, smoked ham, chicken and rice, corn, lima beans, cranberry sauce, and great people. My brother got his guitar out and we got to singing. Lots of actual conversations with people I hardly ever get to see, haven't seen in a while, or who I never met before. Just a great moment to remember.
  14. Won't be as hard of a matchup as KC. Make of that what you want.
  15. little bit out of the price range. i doubt i'll be able to make it happen. would love it, though. a flat over a coffee shop would make me the happiest.
  16. i think i go in the opposite direction of most. my ideal retirement is living in some old downtown area in a flat above some shop or something. life out in the country was just something i got real tired of. My kids actually miss some of living out there, which i understand. that was where they grew up for the most part. 40 acres with a 2.5 acre pond. it was beautiful, but also way too much (and too expensive) for me to keep up with.
  17. Seriously, I think this is great. He's growing into the guy they need him to be. I hope he is anyways. Would be awesome.
  18. He finally hit puberty? Good for him!
  19. He probably made it pretty clear he didn't want to be there daily. He's going to wind up washing out of the league.
  20. Yep. Losing him and putting Ian Thomas on IR were big time boosts to the offense.
  21. Agreed. Someone is reading a lot more into the story than is actually there.
