hangartner was super valuable during the years that we had a good OL. not only did he make for entertaining training camps (could always be counted on for at least one fight), you could plop him pretty much anywhere and know that things would still be ok. elf can be that.
-
If we signed him the first thing we should do is cut him.and throw him out of BOA telling him to get the fug of our field.

i can hear the laughing just reading that.

that was just a beautiful play all around. i mean PJ looked like a real playmaking QB there, but he looked good all game. it's just weird. and the OL... that's what we've needed for over a decade. i think rhule was maybe trying to help people's self-esteem and make himself look like their mentor or something, but the truth is he was holding everyone back. he got in their heads. that's what he does. so glad he's gone.

There's a lot of people saying picking number one doesn't mean much...
rayzor replied to Mol3m4n's topic in Carolina Panthers
There's 4 QBs in this draft I would be good with. The cam Newton year, he was the only one (I mean after luck reconsidered). I wanted nothing to do with yo Gabba gabbert at any point in that season. It was cam or nothing. That's not the case this year. -
So are key players still going to be on the trade block?
rayzor replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think offers will be made by other teams, listened to, and if the price is right we bite. But the players probably just got a bit more expensive. -
I'll take whatever wins I can get because I sure don't see it very often. They'll be plenty of opportunities to lose. I needed to see this.

One thing I will see is you to the door. Bye

Did we get rid of CMC to avoid having to use him so much

What makes this way any more right or wrong than your way....wait you don't have a "right way" you just have....I don't know....what are you trying to say, that no one knows wtf they are talking about, we're just throwing poo out there? Or you have a better quality poo to fling? Just not 100% getting what you're throwing out there.

Yes, but it would be much more fun to watch than what we've had the past few years

How about we try it with a real HC?
-
Your response has not much of anything to do with what I said. It's got nothing to do with grinding an axe. It's got nothing to do with a belief that it takes 5 years to build a team. If you've been paying attention I've been shouting that it only takes a couple to turn a team around. And they are listening to offers for several players apparently, and none of them are off the table they all have a price. When the price is right you sell and keep loading up picks, which the new coach can use to build the team as he sees fit using the picks to either draft or trade for players he actually wants, not that he inherited. The new HC is going to want as much of a clean slate as he can get and as much capital to build with. He's going to bring a new culture that is different and it might be hard for players already here to adapt. It might be better for some of them to go elsewhere and it might be better for us if they moved along rather than being a holdover from a previous culture. They don't have to get rid of everyone, but they do need to be listening to offers and take advantage of anything that will help build our power ci stockpile. Don't go cheap, but definitely go if the price is nice.

So make a suggestion. What is your answer for "doing it right"?
-
So more picks is not better? Letting the new coach totally rebuild this team isn't better?
-
Baker can't handle pressure. He's not the QB we were sold on. Give me any of the top 3-4 QBs in the draft next year over this guy and behind this OL.

Let's go Boze.
