How long has it been since we e had back to back wins?
-
Wins don't have to be pretty or look like it was in the hands of a team of pro bowl players. Just make it happen.

Chiefs game “Bryce young will become a Kingslayer”
rayzor replied to Gipetto's topic in Carolina Panthers
Coach slayer, yes. Not sure more than this -
I hope we see the reason for it.

I'll do the same poo I've been doing for years. Complain, say I'm done, and then stick around and hope it's better than I think it will be. I don't know. I just hope we get better.

This year might suck, but I think we're on to something good with the youth movement. Whether or not it involves BY, which I doubt it will, I think we've got a good core starting. And one thing I think we're seeing is the kids saying "we got this". I see them starting to step up.

He might have a lucky sack then crickets the rest of the game.

I heard they couldn't agree on compensation. Did they work it out?

Jerry has always had a blind spot for receivers. anyone remember joey galloway and roy williams?

That's how I saw it. An overreaction to a perceived overreaction.

one way or the other, Bryce is the HC killer.

Panthers win against the Saints historic
rayzor replied to electro's horse's topic in Carolina Panthers
So who is going to be the saints interim head coach? -
Condolences to those who bet against the team. Never fear, there's always next week. You can make it up then.

dammit let's do it

yeah, i'm thinking that as well. seems like a right fit. giants i guess are going to be in on the discussion as well, but tbh i don't see them as an organization that would be pushing for that #1 pick. i feel like Ward seems like a realistic option for us. i just don't know if we're going to be wanting to risk a QB at #1 again so soon.
-
so how about this....if we're sitting there at 1 and the raiders (who are obviously looking for a QB) come knocking offering to trade for 1, would you do it knowing that they'd likely be taking Ward?
-
i think they've been trending heavily towards NO patience whatsoever with newer QBs. They expect immediate results and a large part of it doesn't have to do with winning strategies...it has to do with winning the fans over and keeping fans happy. What Tepper has been doing (and failing at) is a microcosm of what the league has been doing (and failing at) for years. He just fails at a quicker pace than everyone doing what everyone else has been doing (and failing at).

I hope it's a good one to watch and that y'all have fun however it turns out.

Some will be good and even great. Most will not, regardless of where they are drafted. You really can't tell how good or bad a QB is until you've given them a chance to develop. I say i don't think Bryce will ever be a good one, but he hasn't had a good chance to develop so while it's unlikely he will ever be good until he has a chance to sit back and learn and be mentored we won't know 100%.

QBs that could be good are never really given what they need or the time they need to develop. the unrealistic expectation is that they start day one. the reality is that very few, even among those who are taken early, can start day 1. we need a farm league. teams who draft QBs early should not be drafting QBs early if they expect the QB they draft to be able to start right away. Stroud succeeding early is not at all the norm. most QBs fail when asked to start day 1. that's the reality.
