  1. Passing on Dorsey. Doesn't seem anything particularly special or innovative about him. Doesn't seem able to adapt or scheme all that well. Kellen Moore.... Pretty curious there, but is what he's doing sustainable?
  2. https://www.theringer.com/nfl/2022/11/7/23445739/indianapolis-colts-fire-frank-reich-reaction-jim-irsay-chris-ballard-jeff-saturday Decent read in how firing Reich was a big mistake made by an owner who has no clue what he's doing and makes rash, irrational decisions based on whatever emotions his drunk ass is feeling. Hiring Jeff Saturday only solidifies the idea irsay doesn't know what he's doing. It also lays blame on the GM who is, on record, committed to NEVER drafting a QB because he's afraid of failing and being run out of town. Reich hasn't done great but he's done better with the same kind of sucky QB carousel we've had here. His offense has done well considering the poo QBs he's had and adapted each time to their strengths. He's not top on my list and would prefer we went with a fresh untried face, but I wouldn't hate it at all if we decided on Reich. The problems we've faced here has largely been the result of having a bad coach with too much control. The problems the colts have had has been from having a drunk irrational owner and a GM without a spine.
  3. Lol nothing like hearing Sean Payton wants your job. Thinking Chargers are best fit for him.
  4. I like him. The players love him. He's a good coach. He won't take this team to the top. He's another Rivera. We don't need that. We need better. Players love him, but they'll love winning even more
  5. I just don't see him as much of a runner. I think he's athletic and definitely mobile behind the line of scrimmage, but when he starts to take off he just doesn't seem as fluid as he is in the backfield. At times he just seems really awkward doing it.
  6. yeah that's a pretty big knock. I mean its not insurmountable, but its definitely an issue.
  7. forced to choose between young and stroud, i'd likely go stroud but i'd be really happy with either. i think stroud has the highest floor between the two but young has the highest ceiling, but aside from a couple distinctions i think they're about the same level of talent. stroud has size and he's a better passer. young is a dynamic playmaker. young would be more exciting, but we'd be better off with either of them.
  8. if the goal is to grow a good mustache then minshew would be a great mentor. as a QB mentor ...i don't know about that.
  9. he's got some of the worst luck with injuries in football. i just don't see how that couldn't carry over into the NFL. otherwise i like him, but those injuries....i'd be fine letting someone else take that risk.
  10. Poorly run teams make poor decisions. Texans poor choice could make it easier for us to make a better choice. Problem we have is that we are a poorly run organization as well. I've got a feeling it's not going to be if we shoot ourselves in the foot, but just how badly we do it.
  11. Coin flip on Young and Stroud for me. Also not liking Levis at all, but I've got a feeling we'll be drafting him and then winding up drafting a QB again in 2024 when we realize he's Pickles 2.0
  12. i'd take leaf over this guy. he takes it to a whole new level of douche.
  13. Yes, that's what I was thinking of. Hopefully with better payoff, but I think that's the kind of thing we need to try just to make sure we get our QB.
  14. Take the best QB available in the first then Hooker in the 4th if he's still there. Worth a shot.
  15. Yes, he can help us get an earlier pick, but starting him also turns a 5th into a 4th and we can lose with another QB. No need to put him out there anymore. I've seen all I need to know he sucks.
