  1. Canales and Morgan probably know they want to go another direction, but Tepper has to be shown without a doubt that we need to cut our losses with bryce. Considering the cost involved, he'd want to make absolutely sure that there is nothing that can be done to make him worth the initial investment and that he is irredeemable to the point that we need to spend draft capital again to get another QB.
  2. It would be worth it to keep using the rest of the season to see what happens to the offense with Dalton and Bryce. Experiment and see if it opens more up with Dalton or not. I don't think it's a question of whether Dalton has a role in the offense next year as much as a definitive answer on whether Bryce holds it all back. I think we all know he does, but Tepper will need quantifiable evidence to show that we would be better off going another direction.
  3. You are building a culture one way or the other. If you keep fighting regardless of anything, you build a tough team that won't quit. If you start trying to talk, you create a culture that quits Sorry. Try to defend it all you want, but what you are holding on to is the absolute worst kind of culture for any team. And the whole concept is just stupid. Sorry. Only the worst of team cultures quit and call it strategy.
  4. Seriously this whole tank strategy is the worst idea that could ever be dreamed of in competitive sports. It's a strategy for cowards and weak minded individuals.
  5. If your strategy is to lose, no one wants to play for you. I would always rather have a team that fights than who is told to lay down. A team that fights is one to still be proud of. A team that chooses to win is a true embarrassment greater than any other. Fight on.
  6. Apparently noticing that Bryce is getting a little bit better and hoping that he can turn into a decent QB is being a fanboy and you're saying that he's headed for canton. People love to overreact about imagined overreactions.
  7. Being able to draft a QB in the top 5 doesn't mean you're getting a franchise QB. It means you're going to be paying a high price for an unproven kid to walk into a crappy situation where he's expected to play at a pro bowl level right out of the gate but will probably be benches withing 3 years while that team stays in the top 5 draft spots annually. Not sure if people notice this, drafting your franchise QB in the top spots is a gamble that doesnt guarantee Jack and is more often than not going to fail. Get the team right first so you don't waste your pick.
  8. One interview canales did leading up to the Germany game, he talked about how excited the players were about playing on grass there
  9. Just getting caught up finally on the game this morning And one thing jumps out at me....I love those jerseys getting dirty and grass stained. I love watching guys get up with a clump of grass stuck in their helmets. Give us back our grass, Tepper. Give us grass. Do that and you do your part in restoring the Panthers to what they were.
  10. Lol we still in it. Yes...the division is that bad
  11. In April. Hey...it's Jerry. His brain don't work like other people
  12. Lol cooper makes Bryce look....ok.
  13. I hope he succeeds if nothing else just to fug with people's minds.
  14. I meN it's not completely out of the realm of possibility, knowing the NFCS that we somehow pull out a "how the fug did that happen" shocker win against the falcons. It is the final game of the season and there's no way they're losing the division so they might half ass it. 5-6 wins....I would be ok with that.
  15. Very encouraging. Thanks y'all. Liking what I'm hearing about Wonnum. Hope we start calling it Winning with Wonnum.
  16. Not serious about the chiefs, btw. Just wanted to see y'all freak a little. But seriously, I think we can split with the bucs and the cowboys aren't looking good. I mean they look like the caliber team we've been beating. I think we'd stand a better chance of beating them if the game was in Dallas but still the type loser team that we've been squeaking by. So do we get back up to 5 wins this year? I can see it.
  17. I hope he does well for the team's sake, but he's never going to go down as one of the greats or a monster legend. There's not a thing in him that screams "keep pounding". More like "keep slapping". He just doesn't inspire. he's not capable of it.
  18. I just can't take him seriously. Go from fiery Jake to the supreme confidence of Cam to that? Oye.
  19. Just curious who looked good. Last couple weeks there has been some improvement in several guys... especially the young ones. So how did everyone do?
