  1. Btw....I'm on the Foreman + Sanders would be brutal for defenses. Please make it happen.
  2. same here. 2 of those three and i'd feel fairly good about the WR. not great...but ok.
  3. it definitely wouldn't hurt. shouldn't be too expensive. he's got a good bit of talent and we could definitely use him. no way should he be the only addition, but he'd be a good one.
  4. i've said it before....i think they probably have a gut feeling of who it will be and now it's just a matter of making sure they are going to be making the right decision. They probably obviously feel good about one or two others, but i think they probably know who they want. next month and a half is just going to be assuring themselves that they are picking the right guy. i'm sure a lot of the decision will be based on schemes that they are no doubt trying to come up with when thinking about each player. which ever one excites them more will likely get the job.
  5. wouldn't hurt my feelings if we picked up another TE like Austin Hooper.
  6. i like it. dude is a baller and a brawler. great safety outlet for the new QB. and it looks like we're collecting all the gingers lol.
  7. this year it's playoffs and win the division. next year it's a deep playoff run, maybe NFCCG. by year three, especially with him drafting his QB this year, Superbowl in year three. If he doesn't win one in year 4 it probably won't happen. If a coach/QB combo is going to win a Superbowl together, it's likely going to happen within the first 3 maybe 4 years or not at all.
  8. Nobody liked Derek Anderson either. Turned out to be good for Cam.
  9. same. i don't know how long or how much was packed into those interviews, but Young would have really had to have blown them away for him to overcome both Stroud and apparently AR. Stroud's tape, plus combine performance has to have put him in the lead.
  10. i would flip Young and Stroud. Probably just me, but i think Stroud ends up being the more impressive overall candidate. And i'm with you in hoping the decision was already made. I feel like it's one of those things they know but they want to be sure of first. I think they believe that either Stroud or Young or even Richardson (to a lesser degree) would be worth the first overall, but i think someone impressed them enough to want to just go ahead and jump in. They saw/learned enough at the combine to say "we can NOT miss out on this guy."
  11. where's that cauliflower gif when you need it?
  12. #1 QB from a crappy class is the #1 QB, even if he's a crappy QB. Bar wasn't exactly set high.

    Pie day

oh yeah...one of the best pies out there. another top comfort food.
  14. this. Marvin Harrison, Jr. is the goal...esp. if Stroud is our guy. Fitt would have to work some serious magic to make that happen, but i got faith he can do it.

    Pie day

ok....i'm just going to say it. i'm a fan of chicken pot pie. dinner pies are very underrated and underappreciated and pretty much overlooked in the pie world. true comfort food.
  16. it's a good start to FA. if this has Evero's stamp on it, you know it has to be a good and necessary pick up.
  17. hey, you have cliff notes for the athletic article? i hit the paywall head on.
  18. definitely helps that smitty sees the trade as a positive, even with trading away DJ.
  19. i never saw it either. too much going on over the weekend for me.
  20. people who think that we could have gotten out of that trade with DJ still wearing a panther uni or that we gave up too much have to realize it wasn't just about us moving up to 1, it was giving the bears incentive to trade down to 9. that's quite a leap so the cost was going to have to be high.
