"our 53 is better than their 53"

he warned them.

it will become obvious that Young is the best QB in the NFCS by mid season. i'm not sleeping on ATL. i think they'll be third in the division. still will have a weak QB, weak defense, and weak coaching. bucs will be in the running for top QB pick next year. i think we split with the saints, but we end up sweeping everyone else in the division. we'll finish 12-5 and win the division. 5-1 against NFCS 3-1 vs NFCN 3-1 vs AFCS and we'll lose two from the trio of cowboys, seahawks, and dolphins.

His 'shortcomings' aren't the big issue people are making them out to be.

Preseason Tier Ranking of QBs in AFC / NFC
rayzor replied to bLACKpANTHER's topic in Carolina Panthers
one of the faces from tier 6 in the NFC will bump up to fill that void in tier 1 by the end of the season. the other one on tier 6 plays for the bears. there's a few between tier 4 and 5 in the NFC that i would switch around. AFC peeps have their work cut out for them. don't have any issues with those rankings. -
keep the discussion to the interview itself, please. there's another forum for that other poo.

Panthers have one of NFL's most 'obsessive' fanbases
rayzor replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
i would be a whole lot more interested in going to panther games if the tickets were even half what they are. drop it below $100 and i'm taking the family. as it is, that's just one of those luxuries that i cannot really afford and really don't want to add to my life, especially considering the gas and time to drive down and the cost of concessions. i chose a simpler, less stressful life and that is one of the perks that i feel fine giving up for that simpler life. but i think there would be a lot more local folks and fans who would go if the tickets were more affordable. -
yeah, zach had the talent. i think the concern for him pre-draft was what is going on between the ears...and more had to do with his character and personality. people thought that he might be a bit too entitled and not really fit or cut out to be a leader. he thought he was better than everyone else and didn't do much to try and hide that feeling. turns out there was probably something to all that. but the concerns surrounding wilson are just not there at all with Young. I mean that's been considered as one of his strongest traits. when Cam was talking about Young, that was the thing that he focused on the most. I don't think anyone had or has any concerns about Young being the leader of a team.

i know someone on here was saying that people were saying the same things about zach Wilson tha tthey have been about Bryce Young, but NOBODY was talking about zach being as brllliant a football mind as they have been Young. People see Young's command of the game and ability to manipulate coverages and they've been talking a lot about that. i haven't heard anyone talked about the way that Young has.

Panthers Fans Never Learn
rayzor replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
sometimes just stepping away is a good thing. i think i quit posting for a year in here after the 2015 run. sometime during that next season i just dropped out. that season and the ending was just too taxing on me. the last year of the rhule era had me emotionally check out and i was just about to that point again. the last bit of hope i had was that maybe sometime Tepper would finally realize that rhule needed to go. fortunately he did and the wilks made it ok to be a fan again. panthers were something i could finally feel ok about. i feel great about the potential of this team finally with the coaching staff that reich has pulled together and Young looks like he could be a legit star in the league. i'm pumped. i haven't gone to training camp in a few years, but i really want to go this year and i'm going to try to work it into my schedule. i can understand someone being burned out, though, and not having any confidence in the team...but then, again, the question is "why would you do this to yourself? why allow yourself to continue being invested in something that you feel so horrible about? just walk away for a while...from it all, including and especially here in the huddle where you'll be constantly reminded of the thing that is dragging you down. it will be ok and even good for your mental health to take a break from it. find something else to get emotionally connected to that isn't a drain on you. that's what the OP should learn. -
i've tried listening to this interview 3 times. i haven't been able to get through it because something goes nuts around me. puppy pees on the carpet, kid falls off the bike, plane crashes into house, those kinds of little annoying things. can someone give me a recap?

Panthers Fans Never Learn

This thread makes me think of the phrase, "misery loves company" but what we're finding out is misery is desperate for company. This miserable panther fan's mission with this thread is to get more fans to be as miserable as the they are. -

I know, but you probably should. You obviously get no enjoyment out of them. How could you? I mean in your eyes they just suck and are a failure of a team destined to win 3 games. Seriously, why bother? -

I don't know about obsessive, but we definitely have some issues. -

It may be time for you to move on. Either jump on the bandwagon or walk away from it. But right now all any of us see is someone who's probably better off bailing. -
Interesting indeed... Thanks for posting that. Would be a fun matchup. Having it be overseas could set it up for a very memorable one.

Please copy/paste it. I can't read anything on it. Some screen popped up and the only thing I could read is cookies and I'm all full

I don't know is floor could be the same as any other quarterback. He could suck. He could get hurt in the first two games. He could be a total waste of a pic. I mean what else are you wanting to find out or hear? If it doesn't work, then we'll deal with it then. I just don't know why you want to sit around and try to think worst case scenario with the guy. I don't know if you're looking for a worst case comp like everybody looks to a best case comp but I think the floor for any player is just failure. For me, I just don't see the point in sitting around and trying to dwell on what the worst case scenario would be. I think we all know that so why do it?

I'd rather get my hopes up for the first time in 5 years and be excited about the potential this year. With this group of coaches and this QB we just traded up to draft at #1 and be disappointed eventually than to spend the rest of the off-season going into the regular season worried about it all going to poo. I mean if y'all are cool with that, fine. I've had enough of it. I'm excited and (sorry, but) f*ck anyone who tries to disrupt my giddy.

Why worry about it? Until he proves he can't get it done it that he's a fragile twig, I'm going to believe that he's not. Seriously why stress or worry about it? Not a damn thing any of us can do.

Only, no. They find some way to adapt and find their lanes, but there's only so much tilting even a 6'2 QB can do to look over a 6'5 lineman with cleats and helmet. But your asking for a lot to happen to be able to depend on looking over your line. ...and the DL that they are trying to stop. It's just not the consistent and reliable advantage you'd think it is, and that advantage would only be reserved for those QBs over 6'5. By that same token, it's not the disadvantage to Young people are making it out to be. Good QBs find a way to see the field, regardless of circumstances. Bad QBs don't.
