Absolutely, having a great qb makes it easier to run the ball. The threat of their passing game (much better than the rookies we faced) changed the way we defended the run and they took advantage of it.

We played against a team that wasn't starting a rookie qb making his nfl debut.

The media doesn't hate us, they want to make money. They portray every team and player in a way to make the most money possible. If it helped their bottom line they would say we are the best team they've ever seen and Darnold is a god.

If bad calls are a deal breaker then the nfl isn't for you....especially if you're a panthers fan.

Sure, but they will have to face better qbs this season at some point. The d looks great though.
