Big Ten and SEC fixing to dismantle the ACC?
philit99 replied to Squirrel's topic in Carolina Panthers
Looks like the ACC is discussing an alliance with the remaining PAC-10 schools. I believe this is the only way PAC-10 can keep ARIZONA, ASU, Colorado, and Utah from bolting. The next week will be really interesting for college sports and the future of the ACC. -

Looks like Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah are heading to the B12. PAC 12 dissolving before our eyes. -
Big Ten and SEC fixing to dismantle the ACC?

I hate to say it, but the ACC could be gone. They are more worried about getting out of Greensboro than competing nationally against the SEC and B10. Good bye Greensboro…. -
Cam Newton was a fantastic QB for the panthers. His shoulder is shot, and once teams figure out his run pattern he is toast. He averaged like 110 yards passing for the Patriots, let that sink in. Mayfield gives the panthers the best chance to win, but his maturity, and ability to gel with teammates are too much to over come. He could be this years Stafford in the right scenario. I hate to say it, but Cam’s time in the NFL may be over.

Amen, Berger is as crooked as scoliosis. Sometimes I think the GOP uses this state as a Guinea pig, ex HB2. Then other GOP states swoop in and get the businesses that leave, ex (Film Industry) thanks Georgia. Then all the people in this state look like dumbasses.

The most likely scenario.

Jimmy Hoffa?

Perhaps, I think we hear something this week, or you can forget about anything until they realize 3/4 of the way through camp, that they desperately need another Vet QB.

The deal was you bought it like you saw it. Hey, look, I've helped you as much as I'm going to help you. See that car? Just use it for you're not welcome anymore. You should fug off now while you still got the legs to carry you. Why the fug do I want a caravan that's got no fuging wheels? -

Come on, it’s been two days now.

He better be, I think he has to get at least 9-10 wins to see next year.

Talk about a tectonic shift. Watson has caused a huge rift in the NFL. Cleveland loses Mayfield, Atlanta loses Ryan, Texans lose Watson, and Cleveland will pay a kings ransom for a potential legal nightmare. What if the silver lining is that the panthers get a hungry, vindictive Mayfield and we become competitive again. If not, maybe the fan base could grow with all of the new Mayfield commercials. Tepper will have to do something to replace all of these soon to be empty seats (according to the Huddle) once Mayfield is a Panther.

Then it is better than the last 4 seasons, I would rather move up than down.

Most on here are not enthusiastic about acquiring Baker. As long as the cost is minimal, I think it is the best case scenario. Baker is a vet, and say what you will, he is a decent QB. He improves our chances to be competitive and to me that is what counts. In the right environment, Baker could be a quality starter.
