Agree, but we have to line the kicker up. He missed both on the right hash. We should have ran up the middle like ATL is doing now.

I want him to succeed, but there is tape on him. We need the Oline to remain at a high level in order to be successful. Atlanta is a scrappy team.

Facts are that there are not 32 franchise QB’s in the NFL. There are about 10, the rest are game managers. It takes a great scouting department to identify potential franchise QB’s that are diamonds in the rough. Pat Mahomes was not drafted #1 or in the top 5. Josh Allen was not the first 2 QB’s picked, that distinction belongs to 2 current Panther QBs. We need to ensure our scouting department is stocked with the right talent and eye for the future. The next franchise QB is out there, can we get him before the other teams do? We need to start there instead of listening to Mel Kiper Jr. Tepper please invest in the scouting department, that will pay the most dividends long term.

My only knock on Elflien were the botched snaps, and someone pointed out bad protection calls on the All 22. I don’t know I stopped watching tape about two years ago. Rhule and the bland level of football, killed a lot of desire.

Happy to see the guy get a quality start. Just shows how ridiculous Rhule was, he should have been starting the whole time. He was picked up for one year, but we need stability at that position. Man I hope so, if not we will have 2-3 bridge coaches trying to get experience. Everyone wants a young OC, cause they think that is a winning model, it is not. If Payton is out, Harbaugh, Tomlin, or Zimmer is our only shot at being a legitimate team in the next 3 years. Teams like the LA Rams, SF 49ers are mortgaging the future for now, they will suck in 2 years or less. Sustained success will require the right coach and the right decisions.
