Next week on "Dateline: To Catch a Predator", NBC discovers that suspects are using the guise of HGTV and GoogleMaps to provide cover if discovered and questioned in neighborhoods.

Co-Writer : Damon Lindelof (nothing from this guy is going to make sense). After making the last season of "Lost" a mess, he then gets the job to co-write Prometheus. That's when I held back my expectations. And he keeps getting jobs. The plot assembles the "top" scientific minds and you have a geologist who gets lost and he has the mapping robots, because dammit the script needs him to not get back to Prometheus. -

Sigourney stole the performances each time. She owns the screen whenever she's shown. I remember her being nominated for best actress Oscar for '86 for Aliens. Has a sci-fi actor/actress ever won? My wife loves the Alien franchise as well. Films with strong female leads. My opinion is that both Alien and Aliens are pretty much flawless in their set designs/sfx/sound. The projection(?) screen shots in Aliens stick out, but it was mid 80s, I'm not complaining. You could release each film as is and it would look better than alot of films now. (much like Jurassic Park and Blade Runner) -
Yes. For the long haul, younger is better. No. I think McDerm(Rivera) D took a step back. The big running plays against the front seven had nothing to do with Bell at LT and cutting Smitty. The blitz packages seem much worse. I think on 3rd down stops, the D was bottom 10 in the league. Yes. BUP BUP BUP

well if Neill's concept art is any indication, he's going to disregard Alien 3 & 4. I'd like to see Hicks, Newt, Bishop, and Ripley back together again. Ridley Scott as the producer is probably for name only. Doubt Ridley is getting any allowed to make any decisions after the Prometheus debacle. I read the Thread Title too fast. I thought the discussion was on a Huddle Combine Course. Having Huddlers run a 40, cone drill, take the Wonderlic, and pie eating time trial would be awesome.

I don't this comparison is the same. The eligible vs non-eligible declaration is gamesmanship. Completely legal. I could see the rules committee rule on this tactic (maybe allow defensive substitutions even if the offense did not, but the offense did have players change declaration before allowing the snap to occur) No hurry up offense if players are changing declarations while staying on the field. Dunno. In your example of filling up with hot air at the minimum PSI violates the rule even if this specific process is not spelled out. You know that the ball would lose quite a bit PSI to go below the minimum during the course of the game. If the balls had just been .5 PSI lower to 12 PSI total using room temp air, then this story would be dead. You'd still have detractors out there, but to use a loophole because the rule didn't spell out every single possibility is still a violation.

This. If Aaron Rodgers wants them as inflated as possible, making sure they are fully inflated (or more) and it makes a difference to him. [13.5 vs 12.5] Thereby, QBs do notice when they aren't at their "desired" PSI. As to how they could pull this off, I read somewhere that all the Patriots had to do was store the balls at a very warm temp prior to testing. i.e. 90 degrees. It could pass the test at 12.5 PSI, and then at 50degrees on the field, it would naturally drop to 2lbs less. No on the sideline antics at all. The "Patriot" way. You followed the letter of the rules, but you know that during the game, that it could give you an advantage.

I'm dumfounded how the human species continues to survive.

Yea, my rock climbing class instructor @NCSU asked us to guess and do pull-ups at the beginning for assessment. IIRC, 18 would get you an A, 12 a B, 8 a C at mid-terms. Guy said he could get 25 easy. Instructor stood counting....ZERO, ZERO, ZERO, ZERO....took until 8 flops before the student understood that none of those were pull-ups. Guy had to start over and couldn't get 6.
