  1. This forum is going to just be group therapy for the next few months. It sucks, I hate it, but I'll be here for you, if you all are here for me.
  2. The O-line is clearly a major issue, and that has to be considered. You have to play Cam the rest of the way. He needs to be given a chance to show what he has left. Today was a team effort in being trash in every phase of the game. Cam didn't look good. No one looked good. This team has to know if the offseason needs to be spent chasing a QB, or if they can spend every single draft pick on the Offensive line. After the Bye, Cam will have been in this offense a good amount of time. He plays well, he's back until at least 2024. He doesn't and there's a very real chance that this team mortgages the future for a QB, and is still left with a weak O-line.
  3. How in the world was he celebrating an incompletion, down 20, after being beaten like a drum for the better part of a month. You want to do the incomplete celebration, try breaking up a pass before being down 20 in the fourth quarter with three minutes left.
  4. Would be shocked if he calls another play for the Panthers after this game. He could have a very good future, but he's just not ready to be a coordinator at the NFL level. He'll probably end up somewhere like Alabama, learn under Saban, and be a long-time head coach in the SEC in a few years.
  5. Yep, this sucks, but thank you all for going through this poo-show together. At least we're not suffering through this alone. I appreciate it.
  6. They've been a team since I was 8 years old. So I've been a fan for 76% of my life. I know it's going to happen and every year it is still excruciating waiting for a new season to start. And then the season starts, things go south at some point, and its excruciating waiting for the offseason/draft to see if the team can get things fixed. And then it all happens again. I'll never regret a single second of being a fan. I've gotten to follow and cheer for some amazing players. But damn, I just want one year that ends with a shiny football trophy being lifted up in the air. Just one.
  7. The Panthers cycle is pretty much never ending. Team plays well-->Get Hopes Up-->Team gets exposed-->Monday comes and I get excited that they can put it all together again-->Stay excited all week-->Get let down again
  8. Exactly, the best way to ensure that he is a head coach in the NFL next year is to get Brady out of here. The Giants figured it out last week, let's see if Rhule figures it out this week.
  9. Only possible explanation...they want his value to plummet so they can bring him back on the cheap. He has been bad the past two weeks and they refuse to change.
  10. He really should give it a go here then. It's what a head coach should do. Take over your team when its not working. Brady isn't working.
  11. Can Rhule turn off Joe's microphone and call the game? Like I don't know if he's ever called a play before, but he can't be worse. What we are seeing here is comical. The team looked better when Cam knew less of the offense. The more of Brady's offense that is incorporated, the worse he looks. F Brady's offense, play to the players strengths and not the coaches ego.
  12. I mean, think back to the Eagles game earlier this year. Carolina should have been up 30 at the half. They weren't and the Eagles stole one. Shoe is on the other foot this time. Could've been run out of the building due to miscues, haven't been, find a way to win.
  13. Donte seems like a really good dude, but he'll be a Bill or a WFT member next year.
  14. I don't think its a talent issue with this team. Coaches need to make adjustments. Put your best players on Waddle and force them to do something else. Same thing as last week. Washington had 1 receiving threat and was pounding the ball. No adjustments whatsoever to counter it. Gilmore has to be losing his mind. To go from a coaching staff that says "we're going to take away what you do best" to a coaching staff that says "we're just trying to make one more play than the other team."
  15. After that half, to have a chance. This team has to take advantage and win the f'ing game. The NFL top to bottom is kind of crap this year, there are no good teams. Find a way to win this and keep pounding.
  16. Alright, so third quarter...this week it will be different. Right? Right?
  17. This team has a little more than a half to play smart. If they play smart, they'll still win. The early parts of this game have been a team playing dumb.
  18. Have to call some plays that don't require receivers to fight back to the ball. They are getting bullied by the corners and not fighting.
  19. The entire NFL really let Cam sit at home for half a damn season. There are quite a few GM's that should be getting "Really, couldn't use this guy?" calls from their owners.
  20. Glass half full, most of the league is wildly inconsistent this year. If you told me that in a few months the Panthers would be 10-7, I'd believe it. If you told me they would be 7-10, I'd believe it. This is a weird year and with the 17 game season, everything is wide open. Bucs are world beaters until they run into the Saints and WFT. Rams think they have the Greatest Show on Turf 2.5 and then get rocked by the 49ers. Cowboys are on top of the world and then Teddy McMittens and the Broncos stomp them. Packers lost to the Saints early, went on a run and then Vikings got em today. Cardinals were great, hit an injury patch and look pedestrian now. In the AFC the Titans and Bills were juggernauts until they got the brakes beat off them. Long story short, call it parity or just crazy inconsistency but there are exactly 0 teams that look unbeatable and exactly 0 that are completely futile. Even the Lions fight like hell even if the results don't show it. It's just a weird year.
  21. The rest of this year is the audition. Cam, CMC, and DJ give this team a chance every week. If they can get the 7th seed, the staff is back next year. If they get to 8 wins I think you see some turnover but Rhule is safe. If this team ends 6-11, I can't see Rhule back. This coaching staff has tied their fate to the next 6 weeks. You don't go get Gilmore, you don't go sign Cam unless the directive is to win now. They fast tracked the rebuild by bringing in veteran talent. If it doesn't work out there is no more "but we need a QB" or "the D is too young still." Instead it will be "We gave you (Rhule) the pieces and you didn't hold up your end of the bargain."
  22. Taylor had a great freaking game. He had a few Russell Wilson style balls where it looked like it would be picked 75% of the time and they just kept being huge completions. I ain't gonna ever hate on a dude who everyone had given up on who has now created a niche for himself. Hate that he balled out today, but happy for the dude overall.
  23. What's crazy is that if they don't resign him after this year, there's like, I would say a 80% chance he ends up back with Ron.
  24. The holding calls today really hurt and were bullsh*# Everytime WFT got pancaked, they came up looking for a flag and got rewarded for it.
