Former Panthers QB Cam Newton to be throwing at Auburn's Pro Day
jopie87 replied to Saca312's topic in Carolina Panthers
Hope he looks good and lands somewhere. Clearly has unfinished business and if he sticks somewhere he can leave the game on his terms. -
My favorite player is an offensive lineman. Feels good. Feels damn good. Dude is a game changer.

A day and a decision that will define the franchise for the next decade. Pretty exciting that they're going for it.
-
No option for run it back with Sammy D?!?! Carr + a WR (Johnston) at 9 is my vote.
-
Can't see any way it's legal next year.
-
Strange that he never will again (pending change of heart at age 53).
-
51...take the over. No one can cover Kelce.
-
I'm hoping for a repeat of that Rams Chiefs game from a few years back. Combine for 100 points and put on a show.
-
Then you get 'Fast Resurrection' and it starts anew.
-
I don't care who wins or loses this one, but Greg being the best commentator that Fox has, and getting this moment is awesome.
-
Quentin Johnston in the first. Hendon Hooker any time after the first round. I think the price to get Stroud will be too high.
-
I blame it on lack of accountability when they actually are wrong. The crew that gave Peyton his going away present and the crew that let Cam's head be target practice should have never reffed a game ever again. Instead they justify their actions and move on.

It's good when something that is so inexcusable happens because it actually drives change. This could be the 'fail-mary' that gets change in NFL officiating. They are grossly incompetent and it's hurting the game. Can only imagine the poo storm if that same play had resulted in a pick 6, or long touchdown.
-
They do a poo job every week though. At some point the refusal to get better is the fix. XFL officiating before COVID killed the league was more transparent and worked better. If they can do it on a budget that pales in comparison, the NFL should too.
-
For his sake I honestly hope it's something that doesn't linger. One hit can fug up a career.
-
It would be a fitting end to the worst playoffs ever.
-
I get it, but they chose to sign him on 12/6. Just saying that was the wrong call. At the time they signed him it wasn't to be 4th on the depth chart. I think that was the wrong call. My opinion means fugall though. They did a great job this year at nearly every other point. I couldn't do 1/1000th of the job Lynch does.
-
There is a huge difference between that play and what Tillman did and taught others.
-
The 49ers front office for being straight negligent with the backup QB position makes the podium and takes home the bronze on this one. Josh Johnson. That was the best they could do for the backup?
-
Gotten a viable backup in the last 50 days.
-
There are literally better QBs sitting at home today. They gave themselves no safety net.
-
They can't use the "4th string QB" excuse because it's bullshit. They knew who their number 2 was for today and were ok with it. When your #2 QB is on his 19th roster in like 8 years, you fuged up.

Purdy getting hurt made this one of the worst playoff games in recent memory. Just a complete throwaway. Congrats Eagles on, well whatever the hell this was.
