  1. I think his talent outweighs a charge for racing. Although it led to someone's death, and that is extremely unfortunate. I dont believe teams will see this as criminal activity or risk to his involvement in the league. Players do not get suspended for racing or reckless driving.
  2. One of these days im going to click on a thread that the huddle deems “hot!” and it won’t open to a pointless argument between posters.
  3. I, too , sometimes go to a message board and not read any of the content but post content with limited to zero impact bc its important to me and should be important to everyone even though they may have already discussed it to ad nauseam.
  4. You realize that we would be overpaying ? You would be better off trading burns for the 2 firsts and 3 seconds then use some of the picks to take the 1 spot. regardless, none of that is happening.
  5. I mean the other way around hurts too… this gm and HC didn’t draft Fields. Landing the number 1 pick as a GM only happens once (if it happens) … so you have to make the decision that promotes yourself and the team the best. If there are back door convos between him and the bears HC about not believing fields is their QB (no one has had a closer look than them) then it’s not going to be as bold we think. pure speculation. I’m just saying that if they made that decision there would Be data to support it. The money piece is a good point as well but that’s more auxiliary.
  6. This isn’t the NBA. It will be picks for pick. So I’d suppress that feeling so you don’t over exert yourself.
  7. Vick and Chargers couldn’t land on a rookie deal https://theathletic.com/2535152/2021/04/27/the-2001-nfl-draft-trade-that-changed-the-falcons-chargers-and-qb-play-forever/
  8. Is my memory not working… didn’t Atlanta trade up to get Vick? so wouldn’t your argument be that the chargers would never trade the number 1 pick? But yet they did…..
  9. They have way too many holes to make that kind of move… they are actually in the best position out of all of the team in this draft. They have a poo load of picks and will be guaranteed to land at least one of the top four QBs without spending a dime
  10. At the time I believe he held the record for highest stationary jump. He jumped over 6 ft high if I’m not mistaken. iM sure someone here can correct my memory if it’s wrong.
  11. And here I am thinking we hired Evero because he was the best DC available. Of course Tepper hired him because we would get a third round pick a few years from now. Makes total sense. /s
  12. This was a big post on twitter yesterday. Mainly people were disturbed by the Cowboys. With them being one of the better offenses in the NFL and then seeing that was a real head scratcher. The biggest question is that how were the Cowboys so successful with it? Also, was it McCarthy or Moore? Other teams worth noting are the Packers and 9ers. we all understand the chicago dilemma.
  13. Over before it started … media has moved on from us
  14. I’d take that bet tbh. My buddy knows the packers the same as I know the panthers. The way he speaks about love and the other needs on that roster… I don’t see how the packers would draft a QB. Love isn’t a bad QB. When he had his up to bats last year… he didn’t turn over the ball and still ran a functional offense. I’d think the packers go pass rusher or oline with the 4, or even trade back. However, they wouldn’t go QB.
  15. You don’t think the packers are ready to move forward with Love? The QB rumored to be traded is Rodgers, not Love. You’d have to assume that the Packers are confident in love if they are willing to move Rodgers. i doubt the Packers trade Rodgers to draft another QB. Packers GM just 5 weeks ago: “We really like the development of where Jordan is,” Gutkeunst said at his end of season press conference on Jan. 13. “I think he’s ready to play. I think that’s the next step in his development. Those guys work well together in the room. … We are very excited about Jordan, and where he’s at, there’s no doubt about that.”
  16. Interesting scenario… the Carr, Rodgers and Jackson carousel can really fug up mock drafts … all worth staying close to. we will know the true outcomes of these individuals by end of March.
  17. From what I’m reading and hearing … this is likely. The only thing that could hold him back is his recovery from his injuries. I wouldn’t be surprised if 20+ teams are at his pro day. it’s wild how often his name comes up in podcast, YouTube videos and articles. The name I don’t really see often … Bryce… which strikes me curious to why….
  18. I’m a fan of AR15 thanks to @LinvilleGorgeback in October.. however, as JT O’Sullivan showed in QB school - AR’s great are great and his bads are really bad. however, that’s the polarity you get with a player like AR. High risk, high reward.
  19. That is a very manageable number. You'd think he is leaking that because he wants another team rather than the Jets or Saints. 35million this year is the equivalent to a 29million QB last year....
  20. Id go cheap vet... It seems like its the best move for many franchises. Not many Tight ends make it to their second contract with the team that drafted them. If you can get one that already knows the league and hs proven their mettle, then signing cheap is the way to go.
