Here let me save you the trouble... now can we this ridiculous back and forth? No idea why out of all content i posted today this is the one you choose to pursue.
-
2020.... Jalen Hurts, Justin Herbet , and Jordan Love. They had very strong showing at the thorwing portion of that combine. Justin Herbert was the star of the show that day... he nailed all but 1 throw.
-
Yeah, exactly. All of the QBs struggled on that drill. DTR actually did nail one of his back shoulder throws. However, that was it.
-
Are you pursuiing this bc it's Stroud? This feels like a weird reason to pursue my reply to calling someone's tweet a hype piece bc they claimed that CJ Stroud had the greatest throwing session at the NFL combine they have ever seen... Considering Stroud missed 5 throws... and 2 throws that were less than ideal.
-
It was mistimed... the purpose of the drill is for the ball to be throw right when the WR hits the 17 yard mark... the WR is not allowed to to look back for the ball until they past that point. The QBs are told to throw the ball prior to that mark to see how the WR track the ball in the air.....
-
i was refering in the same context... im not sure what other throwing session I could compare this to considering pro days havent even happened yet...
-
bc they are on the field with the coaches calling out the routes and ball positioning....
-
we are losing the point of my original post.. which was AR mistimed his throw by 10 yards... there is nothing more to see here.
-
did I say something that was different?
-
As warner called out Stroud's deep throws were supposed to be back shoudler throws and the only one that was back shoudler was the ball that came up short.
-
right... but at the same time if AR was trying to show off as the poster suggested.... which i dont think was the case.... thats pretty fuged.
-
thats just a hype tweet... CJ had 4 throws that were uncatchable. Not knocking CJ every QB today has had that issue.. but best throwing session ever seen is egregious.
-
yea but this drill is for the reciever too.. so sucks for the receiver
-
AR threw waaaaaaaay late on that last throw... the drill is designed for the ball to be thrown once the WR hits the 17 yard mark... AR threw it once the player hit the 25 yard mark.
-
Too flat Tune
-
adam thielen on CJ's underthrow "im disapointed, need to be better"
-
Kurt Warner is expressing concern about CJ Stroud's backfoot moving too early when he is throwing. He would to see him keep that foot planted before stepping into the throw.
-
AR and CJ are struggling right now ... there anticpation is off. It is a very difficult NFL throw... but Tune def came out on top in that drill.
-
We need to drft this Dorian Thompson-Robinson.. he is the perfect PJ Walker backfill
-
Potentially. Time will tell for sure.
-
Worried about where AR's shoulders are when finishing his throws. His shoulders are over his toes... which leads to him putting all of his weight in the front of his throw instead of his base. They are picking this part apart on AR. Seems to be what they are seeing.
-
Adam and Kurt explained that Kirk's strength is his timing.... not his tangibles... thats what they feel CJ brings to the position is a solid internal clock
-
They made the statement on his first throw of that series... so it wasnt in relation to that one. Kurt Warner actually called that the ball was gonna sail while AR was throwing it because his weight was in his toes... and not his base.
-
They love Stroud and compare him to Kirk Cousins
-
jsut to sahre with the group .... Kurt Warner and Steve Smith are saying they are really worried about AR15's timing ... he is throwing the ball too late.
