Marc Ryan - "Carolina Zeroed in on Stroud and Richardson"
TheCasillas replied to CPcavedweller's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tweet is a few days old, but this matches what I have heard. -
I do not have any intel on that source-wise. However, my personal opinon is that the Panthers wont try to get cute and risk losing out on CJ. If they are spendin all of these resources going through tape, reviews, phone calls, and background investigations... you dont want to lose that pick bc of a cute play.

Sanders? Just help me understand.

I don’t think this is playing out the way you think it is. It appears in this thread you have asked a question about sanders vs foreman and people have given you an answer but you are disagreeing with them and/or being borderline disrespectful. that’s the core issue here. Why ask a question if you aren’t going to agree with the answer? -
When it comes to LG it’s always speculation and conjecture. Don’t lose sleep.

I understand DJ's perspective, and I am sure he is aware of the fact the fan base is thankful. Tough decisions have to be made and no one knows yet if it was the right decision for either franchise. That being said.... One thing Rhule had right when he did the awful thing around throwing players under the table... was he said that DJ did had an issue where he gave up on plays. Some more memorable than others. I am not saying DJ was a bad player, but when I saw him give up on plays it was frustrating bc everyone else was out there fighting. I get that the team sucked and Rhule sucked, but it is still not a reason to just give up on Sundays. As most here know I did an offensive evaluation series for the first quarter of last season on our offense, and the most consistent thing I saw week-to-week was DJ just giving up unless he had the ball in his hands. Take that for what you will, but you'd expect more from a 1wr. Lastly, the one thing that has stuck out to me was DJ stating in an interview in late 2020 was that he didnt love football and didnt really play or watch it growing up as a kid. Bc of the reasons above, I am okay with the sacrifice of DJ for a potential franchise QB. Good luck DJ, and thank you for playing for my favoritye football team. Good luck with my second favorite football team!

Bama and OSU pro days are next week. However, Alabama has a second pro day on 4.6.23. Theories around the NFL social media platforms is that Bryce is doing his on the 2nd pro day bc of other schools having their pro days on the same day. ie Kentucky. Sounds like Bryce's agent wants to have the biggest pro day in bama history by avoiding scheduling conflicts.

pretty sure that was the year every receiver and their mother got hurt for us... Players who were on that roster: 1. Curtis Samuel 2. KB 3. D Funchess 4. Russell Sheopard 5. Dameire Byrd WR was a position of strength heading into the season... so I dont think we can call it malfeasance

He mainly shares with the group its going to be Stroud. He didnt say it was gonna be AR, Pacman brought up this is an option for us but it woul dbe a boneheaded move to pass on CJ.

Depth Chart as of 3/16/23 (The way I see it, for now)
TheCasillas replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
thats wrong man. I was told back in mid February that we had no depth and were one of the worst rosters in the league. Bc Feb rosters = final rosters. -
If we are going to follow the trend of signing players from winning franchises, then Mecole Hardman is our target.

If Fields doesnt find a way to stay healthy, we might see PJ sooner than later.
