What do you want to do with pick #39?
TheCasillas replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Man that would be cool - I think they are just preparing for possible outcomes. Like a draft slip by JSN. if he fell into the very late first, or early second … I’m sure Fitt would be calling. Our 2nd plus third and a draft pick swap would get the deal done. -
2023 Charlotte FC Game Thread
TheCasillas replied to MillionDollarCam's topic in Charlotte Football Club
Can someone help me understand how that goal wasn’t a foul? I feel like in premiership that’s a call 9 out of 10z -
The panthers hired an agency to do this a couple years back, but it got delayed. I assume that same agency is involved.

It's 100% going to be a defensive guy... probably a safety, linebacker or EDGE. I just cant see a path where we go offense unless there is an absolute stud sitting there.

It legit sounds like the Titans have interest in him. Interesting landing place.

So he just said the mayo coffee thing and banana thing were just for fun and trolling people.

Didn't realize he was 6'4 230

im curious how far that balls go if it doesnt hit the beam

Keep in mind.... when team's bring these kids in for visits... they put them through workouts, throw sessions and drills.

Yeah, his pro day was pretty identical to Josh Allen's.
-
its tiny af... also the roof is lower as well.

You wrote that too early. Haha, Reich went back and chatted with him. He isnt our guy, but I wouldnt state we didnt chat with him.
-
that last ball went 70 AIR yards... wtf.....
-
NFL + is drooling all over him right now. They are saying there are rumblings that the Titans are gonna trade up to grab him.

I dont think we had an official CJ pro day thread either. I did a quick glance and didnt find it within the last two pages of the huddle.

Anyone know when Levis will throw? I am seeing as early as 11:30a. I assumed it was going to be 1:30p like the others.

I wonder if this group is going to set the precedent for future QBs that you dont have to run the 40 for the draft anymore. Esepcially, if 4 QBs are taken in the top 10.
-
im going to be away during the pro day thread (New John Wick movie). We should just use this.

Unfortunately, I did watch every play. I've watched every play for all 4 QBs... and I can tell you that the data is off. Levis isnt a scrambler, he is a running QB. He mainly runs on exhaustion of options or designed running plays. Kentucky's right tackle and center were awful... the RT was the worst right tackle in the nation. He had the lowest pass block win rate of any Tackle in the NCAA. It always doesnt help that the KY OC designed long developing plays similiar to what Shula did here. There is actually a really good breakdown of this in the latest QB school by JT O'Sullivan. You watch 5 min of that, and you would go back and edit your post about their oline, haha. Now, if you are grading KY's run blocking, its on the oppposite side of the spectrum. They were an excellent run blocking team last year.
