I agree with this... the falcons just need Ridder to be Tannehill. I very much expect Arthur Smith's offense to finally resemeble what he ran while in Tennesee when they were in the playoffs year over year.

since the renovations are in the 1.2 billion range... I would not be surprised... or at least that new 3/4 roof concept that we are seeing across all sports stadium concepts. However, I'd love for Tepper to roll out this concept: This would allow real grass for both soccer and football. Then also allow concerts and events at the stadium without sacrificing the field. This is getting really popular at the international soccer level, and I believe the Raiders do this with their new field.

Charlotte officially hit the hotel cap needed to host a Super Bowl/draft about two years ago. That’s why they are now able to put their names in the hat for those events. I believe the stadium renovations are the last step. NFL likes hosting the Super Bowl in newer stadiums this decade. Our city administration has a “tourist” budget that has been put toward hosting events like the NBA All Star game, NFL draft and eventually the Super Bowl. the only remaining factor is the weather….

Offensive coordinator Dave Canales echoed the importance of a quarterback competition while on the podium. Drafted in the second round of the 2021 NFL Draft, Trask has been parked behind Tom Brady for the past two seasons. His only action during a regular season game came in a meaningless Week 18 contest last year. Mayfield, on the other hand, has thousands of live reps under his belt, but that's not to say they have all gone well. For now, it's safe to assume the Bucs will hold a true camp battle between the two quarterbacks, though the winner will ultimately be a weak fantasy option, even in Superflex leagues.

the Thielen "trade" ... as he says multiple times, haha. The piece that got me was his money talk about miles vs foreman and wishes that we offered foreman... I believe he missed the news that we had an offer out for foreman per Fitt. However, Foreman was weighing his options. Plus the Miles contract is nothing in today's salary cap world and we can get the entire cap savings back in 2025 with a release or trade.

Happens to a lot of guys." Arians believes Mayfield's struggles the last two seasons had more to do with Mayfield's situation than Mayfield. The Bucs signed Mayfield to a one-year deal in March after he showed showed signs of life in a four-game stretch with the Rams last year and plan to let Mayfield compete with 2021 second-round pick Kyle Trask for the starting job this preseason. Whoever gets the naming rights to the stadium is going to get good exposure. Considering now tepper NFL, MLS and entertainment happening in that stadium there is more opportunity for their brand to get noticed
