  1. I don't think he will be release, but if he did it would be an additonal 4+million back in our pokcet and the safety market will be cheap and flooded this off season.
  2. he will get vet min somewhere.... why not here for depth?
  3. That game against the chiefs when Franklin played, he was a monster.
  4. To be fair.. Franklin played solid in a couple games... some others he was meh
  5. thats exactly what i was referring to. haha. I was being facetious
  6. My co-workers (4) who are life long eagles fans want to see hurts. They are begging for the eagles to get some receivers. I think just like our fan base is divided on Watson, they are divided by drafting a qb.
  7. I’d think it would be a free agent. Rookie isn’t gonna push hurts as much as a short term free agent. It’s a low risk move by Philly. If hurts turns out to be good (I believe he will be) then they would have wasted a pick on a qb. I expect them sign a FA qb wholeheartedly.
  8. Watched us go to the super bowl and then I watched our QB get injured and never return to him old self. I also watch a coaching staff run him into the ground. So you are telling me with the right QB you can get to the super bowl with JAGS around him? Why do we have counter points here... seems like you are agreeing with me.
  9. what? Trading 3 picks and CMC for an Elite QB immediate provides more impact than 1 first every year..... I dont think your argument has much weight here.
  10. at the end of the of the day... if Watson is traded, you can bet your ass Tepper offered the farm for him.
  11. why would it triple it? The average contract of a 1st round pick is 4.33 years. It's extremely rare that a player plays for a franchise for a decade. It's also not as common for a 1st round pick to resign with their team after the first contract (56%). A team losing four first round picks, wouldnt set them back decades I mean if you look at the patriots during their dynasty run, what did their first round picks really do for the franchise? Yet they won 4 SBs regardless of their drafting.
  12. Easy target bc he posts a lot of threads. However, I do agree with most of his comments. Time to time I am sure people read his content as a know it all. However, truth is that he is a well informed strong opinionated individual. I appreciate his stuff, but when I first joined years back .. I targeted him intentionally to test his knowledge.
  13. I agree here. I think the offer should be CMC, Jackson , 2 firsts and a 3rd. While they give us Watson and a 5th
  14. so rookie deals wins super bowls? Bc apparently if those teams paid their rbs they wouldnt get a super bowl victory, right?
  15. So what Im hearing is that young RBs win Super Bowls
  16. Most of those players were on their rookie deals and got PAID shortly after.
  17. But if he was a post June 1 cut - he would have gave us even more back. Right?
  18. He’ll still be a cheap rotational player. He will get maybe 1-3 million one year prove it deal
  19. I honestly think this is them pressuring us to jump them and sacrifice out future for an unproven qb. In all honesty, they are just hyping up value for their pick bc they know how many teams need a qb. They want to start a bidding war.
  20. Stanley makes 19 million per year at left tackle and lane Johnson make 18 million per year at right tackle. So yeah, sounds right.
