cmon Snake... you know better than this. Otah was our starting RT in 2008 (playoffs) and 2009....

Damn WG put that ball way behind Hyman. That's actually an impressive catch by DJ. You dont see many corners with hands like that.

am i experiencing deja vu?

Last year's CBA pretty much bulletproof this. Looks like offset language is the only thing that players can push back on. I am glad they have gotten this under control.
-
Joey Bosa comes to mind, and I believe that was 2016. That was a nightmare for SD/LA.

thanks guys for the validating this. I totally forgot about the new CBA from 2020. Horn and Marshal definitely were two that I thought could be hold outs if it were a thing. Side note: I want to see this Shi catch!

I cant wait to see some contracts signed by these rooks. I am terrified of the fact there could be holdouts heading into the season.

Who’s eligible for Hard Knocks in 2021?

I enjoy hard knocks, and I dont think im one of a few. It is pretty awesome to see what happens in the locker rooms and behind the scenes of an NFL franchise. -

He wasnt saying it as a lack of confidence, he was stating that the transition is really tough. He knows with the team bringing in SD that there is much room on the roster for many qbs. -

to be fair... the coaching staff we had in place at the time really wasnt known for cultivating talent. -

Since @rayzor made this a thread, let me add the rest of the tidbits: 1. WG stated that the group that has been going out and practicing has built a really strong bond. Brotherhood mentality is developing, and SD has joined the crew with ease. 2. About 8 panther players going on monthly golf outings. The individuals in that group include: CMC, DJ, SD, WG, & Shaq (Member at piper glen) 3. He stated the Colts game where he threw 3 picks had a very vanilla game plan, and that was partly because he was still adjusting. 4. He thinks DJ is gonna have a monster year, but our defense will shock the world The rest of the convo really was centered around personal stuff, so I will leave that where it lies. One bonus note: WG LOVES going to weddings. Apparently he is quite the entertainer.- 71 replies

wow. i really hate this for his family

I'd assume he is here wiht the team because he is buddies with SD. Interesting note is that he is in the last year of his contract with the Jets, and on the fringe of that roster due to their offseason and drafting. Plays slot and can return.... not the best return man, but interesting to see him there

alright dude. I thought that was WG in the picture with a haircut and shaved beard. calm your tits.

yea could have picked a better thread to share.

My buddy went golfing with Grier recently. Had a discussion wtih WG, and WG was pretty open about the transition and mentioned that the game is just really fast compared to college. WG knows this is the year that could be it for him. There were a few other tidbits, but the one thing that was really cool to hear: SD seems like a QB that just has it all together. Super smart dude and probably will be a great starter for us -WG

The NFL is still picking their Cinderella team for this year. The refs need to know before august. Vegas knows.

This is all to cover up the fact that Mike S and the GM were not in agreement who to take 3. There were several reports that Mike wanted Jones but the rest of the staff wanted Lance. This is shut the book on any internal drama getting outside of the org

NBC Sports Boston's Michael Holley reports Julio Jones wants to play for the Patriots. "You know who (Jones) really wants to play with? He wants to play with Cam Newton," Holley reported on Boston Sports Tonight. Jones also reportedly thinks Falcons QB Matt Ryan has "lost a little on his deep ball." Who here wants to tell Julio?

Doesn’t fit our needs and Rhule’s archetype. Pass. -
Falcons would never trade within their division. Especaily someone like JJ who they would get a plentiful amount of offers for.

Its just a smart investment. Our home inventory is one of the lowest in the nation. You are basically buying gold here.
