Can’t believe it didn’t get reviewed

My point is that you still run them… it causes the DBs to not sit on the routes. Not all routes are run to be thrown to.

Darnold might be the next one out the door

hit up Steve and let him know then... like i said I was only calling out that he could have been referring to Nelson and not Slay -

i wouldnt say great is defined by just your physicality. Having the mental awareness around what route Robby was running isnt done by mediocre decision making. It's done by great decision making. -

but he is under duress, he is unable to step up and make the throw. I dont know what Steve is referring to. Im just stating that its possibel he got the two mixed up. -

Which is a great play right? I am unable to judge your tone from this post. -
huh? They have only allowed 2 sacks since then... and what does their oline have to do with ours? They are a top 12 o line this year.

It's possible Steve got Slay and Nelson confused. Nelson 100% made a great play on that throw and jumped the route. -
Thoughts on Hurts' Cam Celebration yesterday?

I actually forgot about it until this thread... and now ive forgotten agan. -
Could be something behind the scenes, could be bring him back to the practice squad. What we do know... CMC is going to be back this week.

The last two days worth of threads and knocks on Joe Brady were expected and I contributed as well. Well my emotions have settled a little bit. Brady definitely has let us down as a fan base with his play calling based on the current situation of having a below average offensive line. However, I started to think about how much of his playbook is in the trash due to the poor performance of the offensive line, and what it could look like if we had an average to above average offensive line. I think my question would be... If we had an offensive line that could give #14 .5-1 more seconds, are we looking at an entirely different playbook on Sunday? Is Joe Brady just bad because of his o-line? Have we ever seen a successful OC in the NFL with this kind of offensive line? For those who are gonna state that we neglect the oline. Rhule and Co. elected to build the D first, we are feeling that. Im afraid the reverse of this situation would be much worse. I appreciate the build a strong D model and then build a strong offense (See Bills and Tampa). If we go another off season of ignoring the o line, then yes... raise the red flags. However, hearing our GM state "I am on the phone looking for offensive lineman" that should be encouraging.

Rhule covering for Brady. Brady going to have to take the heat soon though.

this is exaclty what I told my buddies. He was pissed that we werent attacking them sitting on our routes. He is right. It's odd because Brady did this many times last year, not sure why he stopped. It's going to have to be used in our playbook... teams are going to sit underneath.

We are reading into this way too hard. If the defense jumps on that ball in the end zone and doesnt try to scoop it, we win the game as well. Just like special teams blocking to limit the punt block. Just like Sam Darnold hitting Robby on the third down to help ice the game. Just like Gonzalez pooching the ball with less leg strength Just like the receivers catching the ball when it hits them in the hands Just like Reddick and Burns sealing the edge Seams like there were misses in ALL phases of the game.- 159 replies

Not enough time to throw the deep ball. I think the blueprint teams are using against us is rush 4 and pressure inside. If Sam doesnt have a pocket to step into, its hard to deliver a deep ball. Rhule has mentioned we have been calling deep shots, but we are unable to get the QB the time he needs to throw it. The other piece is that yesterday Eagles ran 2 high almost the entire game. Corners play underneath and safeties over the top. It was tough to watch.

not sure he is worth that.. maybe a fifth

Both Miller and Daley need to be benched. We played roulette with the oline last year as well. Honestly, everyhting about yesterday's game was identical to our Vikings game last year.

On a positional value chart, CB is ranked higher than Guard. You'd have to wonder, if you ship out a top CB waht you could get in return. It would potentially be an all pro G and a draft pick. However, what team in the NFL is crazy enough to do that? Maybe WFT? Also, what contract are you taking on in return? If we dont want to pay that much for a top 5 CB, Id have to imagine the talent you get in return would be just as expensive. Guard is much lower on the totem pole than corner on the overall ranking of the position and the value it brings to a team.

Alright so let’s talk about the Vikings now

Id like to call out... Cousins is a horrendous QB when he faces pressure all game. Getting to the QB this weekend is 100% the goal. -
Same old Panthers. Huge losing streak here we come.

If joe Brady could put in the same amount of time and effort in his play calling as you do in shitting on the panthers on this message board …. We probably win today.
