Shows how solid Sean is as a head coach, but it’s apple and oranges compared to our situation. mcvay and bill b failed in similar situations as Peyton, what does that say about them?
-
Letting us win? NO is right on the cuff of the final playoff spot. I don’t think they would intentionally lose to ruin our draft position and sacrifice going to the playoffs…
-
Actually, teams would be more likely to trade mid round picks because we are missing picks as opposed to offering future 1s. they’ll see that we need to fill our draft gaps, and only offer their current picks instead of future picks. If teams want their players, they will offer what it takes. if we are picking 5 that means there will be some serious talent on the board. Teams will want to get their guy. We need to be wise on how we manage this draft.

Let's say we make a change and fire Rhule

Josh mcDanials or Hackett. If you can’t land one of those, stick with Rhule. -
Let's say we make a change and fire Rhule

Why is Caldwell in this thread as an option? He is super old, and is a coach that rode his talented rosters not build them. He has been out of coaching for almost 3 years if you count next year when a team would potentially hire him. hard no to Caldwell. -
I don’t even understand the why behind that

If anyone need a good laugh… browns logo
TheCasillas replied to Ja Rhule's topic in Carolina Panthers
hah now that is funny. -
I said it in our in game thread, it looked like a preseason gameplan. I wouldnt be surprised if we are intentionally tanking. Especialy with Cam, Sam, Rhule and Brian Burns all saying in the press conference "this is part of the process of building something here" I think there is more to it, but only they know.

yes, at this point in time D. Brown has doubled the production of what V. Butler did in his first 3 years. Also, Brown didnt punch a random guy in a club either
-
can you imagine if the Giants pull that rabbit out of a hat? That would be legit. Never know with the way COVID protocols have hit the league
-
they are 1 game out of the 1 seed, not sure why they would rest their players. Getting that bye would be huge for them especially with their injury situation.

not sure how this is wasting my life? Its entertainment, not my job or livlihood.

What if Rhule hires NFL Coordinators and positions coaches?
TheCasillas replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yes I would. The key is solve for the blind spots. If we brought in capable coaching staff, we are looking at a much diffferent performance every sunday. -
Im going to chalk it up to a sophmore slump. I mean Ive seen much more from this kid than I saw from Vernon Butler. Last year he had a promising year. Also, D Brown started off the year strong, especially when we had a healthy Nixon beside him. It will be itneresting when we get a chance to see those two in the lineup side by side next year.
-
he wasnt talking about Rhule, he followed the cowards comment with compliments with Rhule. That would be a weird way to talk poo about someone.
-
ooooo just might be... good point.....
-
my assumption is Al Holcomb or whatever senior advisor/assistant HC/Offensive coordinator we hire this offseason. Its going to be an itntentional hire.
-
I believe he was referring to Richardson, and someone else in the past. Not sure who he could have been talking about from previous coaching/management.
-
Rhule said that the team will be resigining a lot of players on this roster that they want to be apart of the future , and it was the direct transition topic from when he was talking about Cam. He also stated that they are playhing Cam and Sam together to see what the options are for the future. Decisions they are making today, are for the future.
-
"Today wasnt because of the coach" - Cam Newton Sounds like a positive relationship between he and Rhule. Then again, Rhule has always been known as someone players respect and enjoy playing for.
-
They both stood up for each other in their pressers today. Im listening now, it also sounded like Cam may be back next year via Rhule's comments.

Im going to gett poo'd here... but I am open to seeing what a third season looks like. Now 4-5 games in though, if we look like buns... pull the cord. An offseason dedicated to building the o-line (see Chiefs/Bucs/Raiders/Chargers over the last 4 years in single offseasons) could allow us to see a completely different team. If you can't run the ball, then you pass, if you can't pass the ball, you run. We couldnt block for either.
