This is the type of job Joe Brady needs to grow into an NFL capable coach. He obviously has opportuntiies to grow as a coach in the NFL. Hopefully landing with the Bills will help him develop. Him being our OC was just too soon for him in his career right now.

We are just talking heads, we have no idea how to run a football franchise. Its amazing how much productive time we waste on this message board to gripe about poo we know little to nothing about within the four walls of a franchise. However, we do latch on to every little thing media and twitter says as they contort it and remove context. Then we run with it likes its truth and live with that. Then we bitch and complain until we are winning again, but even then we find the smallest thing to gripe about. This is our society today. Such a lovely time to live in.

yup. Also Eli was just collecting a pay check here and quit on the field when playing for us. Eli Apple has been a constant headache for teams in the league. The bengals would still be in the super bowl with any other CB. Ron Rivera would have ripped into Eli even worse if I had to guess.

If you look at their roster, they didnt tear it down. They accumulated talented players through the draft year after year.. They have players on their roster from the 2017 draft still. Mike Brown has been the one building that team for the last ten years. Not Zac. Thats not how the bengals operate. They are not like other teams in the NFL. Everything is decided and dictated by the owner of the bengals. The only thing that happened differently in the last two years, was they used their first round pick on a QB.

Centers normally arent the most attractive signing in the offseason. It's really who just offers the best deal. Jensen is also just 30 years old. So he would be worth that 2-3 year deal range. He would help immediately.

I wonder with Bucs "mass exodus" happening, if we will attempt to sign a player like Ryan Jensen. That could make these players expendable.

As I look at the list, not many I’d bring back for an additional contract unless it’s value friendly. I don’t want to let D Jackson go, but I get it. That Darnold contract is brutal. I don’t expect Luvu to get a big contract for his position, but a big contract for a special teams player. I don’t think we let him walk. The FO seems to love him.
