  1. He had a few games last year, that he looked like a monster, but then many more game where he only looked adequate, and then a couple he barely played. Sophmore slump is very common in the NFL, mainly due to coaches forcing too much on a player in their second year. The kid is 24 years old, and has plenty of growth ahead of him. Labeling him a bust is only going to come from the same people who claimed Burns was a bust and that DJ Moore would never be a number 1 WR in the league. The expectation this year is that Derrick Brown comes out thumping this year. If he doesnt, then we can concern ourselves with his overall outputs.
  2. It’s 100% fake. This Is a quote from Davante Adams from over the weekend talking about Rodgers to Carr.
  3. There was a piece by pff that it will be signed by Tuesday and not worry about it. However, we will seee.
  4. If burns and reddick finish their sacks on about 4-5 particular drives…. This is a non issue right now. Our defense definitely didn’t get the support from The offense last year but also had moments of looking like Swiss cheese. Eisen said recently that some of the greatest defenses aren’t always tie to a game plan, Dc or even great positional players…. It’s tied to that one player that gets you the ball back when it matters the most. Burns and Chinn need to be those guys this year
  5. Video is going to come out on Sunday of this session
  6. CMC hosted one of these last year… we literally were doing this exact same thing last year at this time.
  7. Each day that goes by I get more and more excited about having baker. I was indifferent at time of transaction but now… I’m getting excited
  8. I am just meaning that it sounds like ridder got a better ratings because he was drafted higher, not bc he was better. Out of the top 4 QBs drafted, he has the worst tangibles. However, he is more adult and has won more than the rest.
  9. My question is that if corral was drafted by the falcons, is he a 70 rating and Ridder is a 68?
  10. Doesn’t baker hold the record for the longest air yards throw in NFL history? I could be wrong here.
  11. Big money with big problems….. state of the cardinals franchise
  12. Okay - bc its been five minutes and I can’t edit my above post… correction to my word usage of hate to “despise” or “dislike” or anything synonymous with how you feel about them.
  13. You’ve openly stated that you despise Rhule and tepper. If you don’t then I recant my sbove statement. You are really trying to turn this convo into a thing. I’m moving on from this.
  14. Depends on personnel alignment. But yeah. I was just going off the statement of “passing downs”
  15. Wilson will not be in the game on passing downs. It will be Littleton and Shaq. They are both above average borderline great coverage backers.
  16. The part in bold I agree with and I alluded to in my previous posts. Tepper is accountable for everything that happens at TSE and BoA… there is no denying that. I’m not absolving Tepper. I am adding the perspective that he didn’t make this decisions in isolation and that it’s very possible that the people he has hired came highly recommended. That’s it. please stop using your hate for Rhule and tepper to create a narrative that I’m “absolving” tepper. I have denied that multiple times already and attempted to explain myself, but you seem to be stuck on the notion that I am protecting tepper. From my experience working with TSE … Tepper isn’t as close as people perceive and portray here. That’s it. i think any continuation of this conversation is just going to be a circle jerk.
  17. I’m on vacation this week and been drinking all day, need a little wiggle room on names. also, if you think tepper went out and searched for Glick all by himself… then you are very disconnected from how agencies like TSE find their talent. Calling my suggestion a huge stretch is a stretch in itself. Why would tepper spend weeks by himself searching for someone when he could hire professionals who are good at it to do it for him? That doesn’t sound very billionaire like….
  18. yup… what I’m referring to is do we know if he went out and searched for Glick? Or was this suggested by referral or sought out by his recruitment team? We don’t know if he hand pick Glick. We do know that they have not worked together in the past and that tepper had an immediate appetite for pulling together a soccer club for Charlotte. if his team served him glick based on their discussions and interview process, then we can’t say tepper hand picked him. There is a process to all hires, and we can’t 100% confidently say “glick was tepper’s guy” without insight into their hiring and recruitment process he had history with Hart bc they worked together in Pittsburgh. So you can argue that he hand picked Mike hart
  19. No I wasn’t. I apologize if that is how it read, but that’s not what I was stating.
  20. I don’t think I’m stating my point clear enough if your take away is that im saying everyone is to blame it tepper. That’s seems a bit egregious of an extraction from what I’ve written. Im simply stating that there are a lot of conversations and agreements that happen inside those four walls that we have zero insight to. When we did work for Glick and his team, Tepper was never in any of the calls/zooms. There we’re about 20+ people in every call but never Tepper. Even during our next step proposal for TSE, still no tepper or sign off on the CLT FC digital strategy. I honestly don’t think he gets involved until the poo hits the fan or it’s time to pick a QB
  21. But in all honesty how much do we really know inside those four walls? Just bc we don’t have indications… doesn’t mean it’s what’s happening. Everything is an assumption until leaks of insider info, which we have none.
  22. We know he hand picked Mike Hart, but do we know if he hand picked Glick and the other guy (forgot his name atm) ? it’s not often that an owner is the primary decision maker at that level of hiring. He could have been involved in the interview process but ultimately left the up to his COO (Hart) to make the call.
  23. As rich eisen said “all it takes is for the panthers to catch fire, and it flips this narrative on its head. That’s just football, no one really knows.”
