I get where you are going, but as my friend who works on golf courses nation wide said "The one benefit golf courses have that fields dont... its that you dont have 22 pairs of cleats running through and tearing it up every week" He said his hardest job wasnt maintaining golf courses, but was soccer fields when he was in Leads, England. -

This is a theory I firmly believe as well. 17 game seasons, playoff spots added… why treat game 1 as the big game… it’s the intro game to your season. continuity is king … the longer a roster stays together the more the advantage they can have
