PFF Best & Worst of the Washington game
TheCasillas replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I had a sneaky suspicion that shi ran the wrong route there. Maybe I’m giving McAdoo too much credit, but that is some elementary offensive play design stuff, and I have hard time believing he didn’t design that in. -
Give me three players that impressed you on Saturday

Brandon smith shi smith brady c barno for the bonus -
I misunderstood your original quote then. I thought you were saying that the team outright acknowledged they can’t trade Darnold.
-
Haha that’s a funny article.
-
This is all I could find from the team talking about Darnold and trade status : After practice, coach Matt Rhule said the team is not trying to trade Darnold. “I haven’t had those conversations,” Rhule said. “We’re in the middle of a quarterback battle. I assume along with quarterback battles, things like that are going to be said. But nothing has been said to me by Scott or anybody that we’re in that.” so im curious what you saw, can you paste it?
-
Then who is Person quoting?
-
Did he say that the team came out publicly about not being able to trade Darnold? That feels like national hit take stuff. Just surprised we haven’t heard more about it. i have the athletic subscription, I’ll just look it up. Thanks.
-
There is a report that our team publicly acknowledged that no one would trade for Darnold? Do you mind sharing it?
-
I’d assume the leadership committee that both Rhule and Fitterer talked about in the off-season.

Corral looked shook, and gun shy. Even on the easy pass to the back in the flat he air mailed it. it’s one game. Sure the other qbs look better, but there is still so much still to uncover. I will say that I did enjoy corral referring to baker as his mentor. That’s pretty much seals the deal for me on this whole baker deal. He is coming in and showing leadership. corral has the tools to be good, just needs to get his mind right. That takes time.

This should be good. Looking forward to it.

Do the titans get the same treatment since they traded up for Willis and got pulled for not understanding the playbook?
-
Hard to judge because we didnt really see any of our 1s out there. I think burns was in for only 3 plays.
-
we all said it. However, it's pretty obvious Baker will be the number 1.
-
PJ. Just admitting it. I am not vouching for him over MC9, Im just sharing that he seemed to have a good grip on Mcadoo's offense./
-
MC9 seems a bit frustrated, I wonder what could have happened that was revolving around "miscommuncation" Edit: Oh poo he talks about Baker being his mentor....
-
After seeing today's performance with Baker, I am feeling good on the direction of the offense. That shot to RA has been missing, and it's nice to see it during a vanilla game plan. That exchanged snap that led to a fumble, that needs to get cleaned. What are your thoughts?
-
for a vanilla scheme , I very much like what I saw today. Game 1 can't come soon enough.
-
third stringers both won and loss this game today for both teams.

Kirkwood cant catch a break...
-
Trade bait for sure. PJ has now been in the league for 4 years and could be attractive to a team like the Jags.
-
me too my friend.
-
funny how i have read "Heinicke is the best backup in the league" and then "PJ doesnt belong in this league...." in a matter of moments of each other.
