I dont think players and their agents are getting paid based off of a teams salary cap ranking. They want to get paid based off of their market value. Now, if the NFL were to go to a fixed salary cap approach, then your position would make sense. However, we are years away from that.

I read somewhere that the refs at practice are supposed to be enforcing this pretty heavily to help teams with the rule transition.

yeah, but they arent supposed to be hitting that hard. Its like wrap up if you notice the effort on the defense.

part of the ever evolving cap. Pay a player sooner than later to reduce cost later down the road. GMs know what position is about to boom in cost.

Hmm.... Jeremy has played one year less in this league, and still has equalstats as Derwin. I wouldnt go as far to say that Derwin plays at a different level. They are the exact same prototype Safety.

yeah, im not coming down on Tremble. Its also preseason, so this footage should help him learn. Aty this point, he has only showed improvement... lets hope that trend continues.

Baker is definitely showing that he has turned the corner on the reputation he has been reported to have. Whether he is auditoning his leadership for us or for other teams, he is off to a great start. I think seeing this alone makes the pick we trade worth it.
