  1. Robbie and Shaq are the only tradeable assets right now that would be addition by subtraction.
  2. onyl the first quarter and a half... Bosa pulled his groin
  3. The Athletic's Jeff Howe writes the Panthers "aren’t actively trying to trade" Christian McCaffrey. Rumors of McCaffrey's availability were inevitable after the Panthers fired Matt Rhule, but Howe says that not only is this happening, but that the Panthers aren't "stripping it down to the studs." Carolina will likely listen to offers that come in, but would have to be bowled over. It makes sense on paper to move McCaffrey and free up some cap space, but until the Panthers have their next head coach in the building and have a true direction, they may take things slow.
  4. The only thing I can think of here is that Ron is calling out the Eagles and Giants specifcally. They both have embraced that they have a running QB and built their offenses around that. Thats all i got though.
  5. So who made the personnel decisions Rhule or Drummond? This is all getting too confusing.
  6. I dont know why this is weird... plenty of teams have exective advisors. I think the fact that the article is comparing Drummond to Easterby automatically gives it negative context, but what about: 1. Tom Coughlin 2. Bruce Allen 3. Stephen Jones 4. Sashi Brown 5. Mike Brown Those are just off the top of my head. All serve roles as advisors to the owner of the respective franchise. This is not out of the ordinary.
  7. Fowler and Tepper despise each other... thats evident in Fowler's writing and Tepper's reply to him. As for the reporter you are looking for .. I cant spell his last name correclty but it's something like "Scott Policic" or something like that.
  8. I disagree. Yesterday's press conference was what the fan base needed, a vocal response from the owner. I dont give a poo if he has a feud with some reporters. I also dont care about his property mishandlings. I wanted a vocal response to the Rhule hire and what he was going to do next and I got it.
  9. I am all aboard the Steichen train and have been for months. Kellen Moore is a hard no. You can talk to any Cowboys fan.... he doesnt know how to adjust in game and his offense is boom or bust weekly. Kellen hasnt built a offensive goliath, he just has a very consistent conservative offense. Thats not going to win ball games. The Cowboys defense is winning football games right now. Which leads me to my question.... Why would you want a cowboys OC that is middle of the road over the Cowboys DC who is one of the best playcalling DCs in the NFL this year?
  10. They were 5th in the league under Quinn in 2017. He took over a falcons defense that was bottom of the league.
  11. Those knocking Quinn seems bizarrre… the guy has been successful everywhere he has gone. Look what we has done for that cowboys defense. don’t forget that Kyle shanahan was the OC that couldn’t get the falcons any points in the second half against the patriots. Kyle made some supremely questionable decisions in that game that took the falcons out of winning that game. Including stopped running the ball in true second half. Also, Matt Ryan taking that bone headed sack to get them out of field goal range. the falcons ran the ball 48% of the time in the first half, and when they had their commanding lead…. They ran it only 33% of the time in the second half. It was a young OC making dumb young decisions, and as some falcons fan say…. “He got cocky.” the downfall of Quinn was much related to Dmitrioff’s cap killing decisions. He devoted so much money to Ryan, Julio and their running backs … that the falcons weren’t afforded an opportunity to reset the roster with talent due to cap. This ultimately led to his departure with Quinn.
  12. lol... they think they can acquire CMC and only owe him 1m dollars bc of a random tweet....
  13. so did Teddy though.... its not like he left and got better. It just wasnt a good match.
  14. yeah i went back and listened again... he transitioned randomly to a unicorn job.
  15. What did Payton mean by "What you got here is a unicorn"
  16. What we saw from Teddy here is exactly what the Saints had in Teddy as well. He didnt really change... he just showed what his ceiling was.
  17. my man said he would go after Jimmy G and Teddy B....
  18. heopfully we will get some examples with substance soon....
  19. Sorry @davos I might be having some huddle fatigue, but your list has me confused because you have some solid players on there listed as if they are bad ie corbett, ickey, DJ, and Wilson. You also are giving up on young and cheap talent ... which is an odd thing for any NFL franchise to do....
  20. then ask it in the Cam Newton thread created earlier today. I dont mean to come at you, but there have been 5 duplicitious threads created today bc no one is bothering to read ongoing discussions.
