  1. Levis is in a pro style offense, what offense were you thinking he would need to be in to like it?
  2. Yeah, Im good on Stroud. We had our shot at Fields as passed for a reason... same goes for Stroud.
  3. Is that still a feature? Where is it?
  4. he is defintely moving gingerly.
  5. Probably deleted it bc he got a poo load of toxic replies. It was pretty brutal.
  6. we do have 1 roster spot open, but im assuming we are saving that for Chinn or Darnold.
  7. Charlotte doesnt have enough history, this is probably the best writing they could do.
  8. I tried to get behind Duggan, but it's really difficult for me. He is surrounded by excellent skills players there at TCU. They also run an air raid offense.. which college QBs look great in, but it doesnt translate well in the pros. Correct me if I am wrong... the only successful starting QB in the NFL that ran an air raid offense is patrick mahomes under Kingsbury.... Here is my knock on Duggan as a QB outside of the players around him and the system. 1. He telegraphs the poo out of his throws. Take a look at his throws, he unexplicitedely slaps the ball with his offhand moments before he throws it. This going hurt him during any scouting process. 2. He throws off one foot far too often for a QB. He appears to not trust his feet when throwing and tends to lean to one side and stand on one foot during his release. 3. TCU does what most schools do for their QBs, they liomit the field size. TCU focuses cutting the field in half on their play designs, and Duggan has benefitted from that. 4. Duggan has a long throwing motion, and it appears that he has to put a lot on the ball to go 20-30 yards. His release alone is going to deter scouts. Those are my pieces. Im sure there are reasons to root for the kid, but I have struggled to be convinced that he is the prospect to go get.
  9. Took me a second...but this is one of my favorite throws. Most people be like "its just a check down" But take a look at this (starting at the right timestamp with the link below), he reads the pressure, slides away from it... both of the defensive players have their hands on him and have taken his legs from him..... Levis relies on his arm and threads it between two defenders and turns into a 20+ yard gain. This type of small stuff can translate well in the NFL. Especially if you have the arm talent.
  10. which game did you watch? Yeah, I actually enjoyed the ol miss game they lost. He played with a dislocated finger and still almost brought them back. If his WR lines up on the LOS correctly they win the game. He just put the ball in the right places. I also really enjoyed his game against Florida. You get a solid glimpse of him playing in a modern NFL offense, and how he reads the field based off of the "right throws" coming out of play action. there is a solid amount of situations put on display.. throwing on the run, deep middle, reading LBers, reading CBs leaving the flats, and sideline throws.
  11. I will throw some quick bullets here: Exellent Mechanics Plays in a pro style offense already Generates the power behind his pass from his hips and doesnt rely strictly on the arm Most likley the strongest arm of the draft Strong runner Prototype size Athlete Sees the field, and already understands the value of a dump off Surrounded by B level talent and still succeeding Laslty, runs an offense where he has to see the whole field, and not cut it in half like a lot of college QBs. Here is a fun video of his throw motion and power generating from his hips my personal perspective... he is the Calvin Johnson of QBs.... Basically doesnt get used to his full potential in college, but comes to the pros and dominates.
  12. Personally, I thought I was good at math.... but my math doesnt line up with Fowler's math..... anyone else? No. 1 overall pick Mayfield and No. 3 pick Darnold, earning more than $40 million combined this season, sat out because of injuries
  13. That is not how I read it at all. The article specifically stated that Rhule wouldnt listen to those around him and was all in on Darnold and Baker. Everyone in the building liked Herbert, they rated him as the second best QB just behind Burrow. It was Rhule who didnt want to give up the picks. Im not sure how you got those two messages from that article, when they specifically point to Rhule for both of those points.
  14. idc what kind of mind we have as long as we are winning football games.
  15. People in here stating it would take a couple of playoff wins.... If Wilks gets a single playoff win with this roster... it is a no brainer to keep him.
  16. winning record since Wilks took over? or a winning record in general?
  17. With the Jets and Giants both in need of an OT and they are competing this year... I wouldnt be surprised if we are sending Erving. He is on an expiring deal. Might as well try to recoup some value.
  18. Please take a break from making threads. Find existing threads to share your thoughts. Maybe like this one for your current thoughts...
  19. Wilks said that is looks likely he would be back week after next.
