I think his ceiling is Colin Kaepernick and his floor RG3. -
Justin Fields 61 yard rushing touchdown

I've said in this thread that Fields has the potential, I am not arguing against that. I am simply stating that he still struggles as a passer, and that cant be forgiven because he can run at an elite level. You can look back through this thread and this has been my statement the entire time. -
Justin Fields 61 yard rushing touchdown

oh i didnt know we were allowed to pick and choose which games we want to rank players on. In that case I pick Jared Goff over the last four weeks bc he has thrown 12 TDs to 3 INTs. -

So is Marcus Mariota... and Dalton is 1 behind them both with 3 less games.... Not a good hill to die on. -
PJ's Ankle Sprain - do we know how/when it happened?
TheCasillas replied to AlphabetsEnd's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah, it happened in the 4th quarter at the 9:32 mark. PJ was dancing around the pocket, and was in the process of being sacked and threw it to the check down and the CB jumped it and almost returned it for a pick 6. PJ laid on the ground for a few moments, and then limped off of the field. The image below shows right before his ankled gets rolled over. -
in the game toward the end. PJ was tackled after he threw the ball and rolled up on his ankle. It was the pass where he was getting tackled and attempted to throw it to his dump off and the corner jumped it and almost had a pick 6.

from the surface sure, but if you look into the final drives of those games, some of those are final posessions wins by the opposing teams.... The titans game he drove the team down the field for a TD in the final seconds only for waller to drop a 2pt conversion pass that hit him in the hands. Cardinals game the Raiders defense went to poo and blew a 3 score lead and allowed the cardinals to win in OT and Derek never got the ball back The chiefs game .. McD called passing plays on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1... for some fuging reason. All they needed was 20 more yards to give Carlson a chance to win the game. 3rd and 1 on the LV46 with 56 seconds remainaing and McD calls two deep shots... I think your focus on Carr failing has shaky ground. Its obvious he isnt the issue in LV. The guy has only turned the ball over twice while throwing 311 attempts, thats the fourth best in the league.

This is starting to feel like Wilks wanting to win more than wanting to tank....
-
actually, in all seriousness.... it was in the 4th quarter, on a sack, i believe.

breathing the same air as the rest of the QBs this week. High Ankle Sprains are contagious...

So I guess high ankle sprains are the new Panther Pandemic.

I just paroosed the Raiders reddit and message board... sounds like the lack of weapons, inconstent playcalling, and lack of protection. Their offense is in shambles. Most of the message board is defending Carr and blaming McD. https://www.raiderfans.net/forum/showthread.php?7092-Carr-Emotional-At-Postgame https://www.raiderfans.net/forum/showthread.php?7090-Rumor-Raiders-To-Move-On-From-Carr-For-CJ-Stroud-Ohio-State

We wouldnt take on the salary due to the gaurantees in the contract. Also, he is a 3x pro bowler. I just dont see how is project... Also, what do you mean he has plenty of weapons? He has Devante Adams.... Renfrow and Waller are on IR, and have played in only 4 games. Who else are you considering are his weapons?

Is it a crazy idea to land Carr and have MC9 learn by backing him? I mean MC9 is a black box... we can all make assumptions by what we saw in the preseason, but to completely shut the door on him ..... feels knee jerk-ish. Obviously, this will all come down to the new HC and the Raiders willingness to depart with DC4 instead of McD.

Justin Fields 61 yard rushing touchdown
TheCasillas replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well these analytics have found out what Fields biggest area of concern as a passer is ......... 27. JUSTIN FIELDS, CHICAGO BEARS 32.5 Passing Grade Under Pressure It’s been a rough go for Fields, as his thirteen turnover-worthy plays on pressured dropbacks severely outweigh his three big-time throws. He has a sub-65.0 passer rating on such plays, and he possesses a lowly 53.8% adjusted completion percentage against the rush this season. -
I like to think he is a tier above Tannehill. Tannehill wasnt a proven QB before coming to the Titans. I actualyl view him more of a Stafford than anything else. DC4 is a 3x Pro Bowler and has been one of the best at closing out games in the league since 2015. He isnt careless with the football and has a beautiful deep ball. I wouldnt give up more than what we gave up for Darnold, and knowing the heartburn from that... i might give a little less.

Something isnt right between him and McDaniels. Carr is a 3x Pro Bowler and under McD the entire Raiders offense has regressed. That could be because they don't have a good running game, so the defenses can dial in on the pass... but im not 100% because I have only watched about 4 Raiders games this year. I did see a video of McDaniels yelling at Carr on the sideline, so I have to assume those two dont see eye to eye.

Carr isnt average though. He is above average. Ranked among coaches as the 12th best QB in the league. He is in the same situation Stafford was with the Lions. Raiders problems arent Carr, never were and never will be. A Qb that throws for 4k yards per season at a 3:1 TD:INT clip... is not "average"
